Yui Kobayashi: An encore version of.... '𝘉𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘦𝘳' post....

 

 Started this on Wednesday and don't know if it'll be finished today( NO! ), am trying to get an older Keya show for this post which may or may not happen in time. This is Yui's fourth post in a little over five weeks which has never happened before. Was going back and forth deciding when should I do posts for her over the next two months? At first thought about waiting until right after the September 3rd 'Tokyo Girls Collection; show took place. But she'll be in the top four of my second 'All Top Time Twenty Faves' list which means the post for her position would be less than two weeks after that. That wouldn't leave enough time to accumulate new things so will have this post for today and then her next one around September 16th. Then hopefully the next one will be shortly after October 4th when her second photobook is released, to top it off plan on yet another post for her 23rd birthday on October 23rd! Whew, lot of recent posts which won't won't be stopping for a while and hopefully Yui can finally start gaining new fans here. 

 Grrrr, the gall of some people! She never complained about those previous visits and that's the thanks I get?! Oh well, it still won't stop Yui from finishing way, way up there on the all time list. As a matter of fact she does have a very good shot at ending up in the second position as I've been a bit disappointed with the fave currently there. Was just counting her posts and this is Yui's 29th solo one since January 2020 and not many can top that figure plus she's been included in a few group posts. She's kind of a bridesmaid here as I've always said Yui is the most likable woman I post about. She's made the last two yearly fave's list, has my third or fourth top '46' photobook and has been in my top five for Idols over the last three years. So she certainly has the qualifications to finish in the second position though so don't two others and the second to fourth spots could go down to the final day!

 Yui's first solo post wasn't until January 2020 and don't know what took me so long but she had a huge amount of pics in group posts. But she also has a large amount of pics from 2017-19 that have never been posted, back in that period Keya was so much busier plus there were more members so couldn't get to everything. But have been using these posts to include some older things which have never been here before though some are encore pics. Here's some old cards from 2018 that were promoting Keya's sixth single "Glass wo Ware!", that was the group's second to last million selling single. These days their singles sell about 450,000 copies but that drop has happened to all J-Pop groups.

 Did mention that Yui would be at the September 3rd 'Tokyo Girls Collection; show, six other members will also be there. This batch is from their March 31, 2018 show and haven't her looks changed so much over the years(?), for the better if you ask me!

 Sone of those pics were posted before while others are brand new for here. It is a bit important to have older pics as it kind of shows why someone is such massive fave of mine and why they deserved to finish so high on the yearly or all time fave's list. On July24th Yui appeared on the 'Yurakucho Hoshizora(?)' radio show and have the link to the transcript. Am having that for on the show she announced that she finally got her driver's license in March! She failed her first preliminary test but passed the second time, no clue if insurance rates in Saitama have now risen!!!! Radio show

 Yui's pics from the With site are tough to beat but don't have all that many new ones for today as her last post was only eight days ago.

 In May the With magazine stopped having print editions which was a bummer but least their site pics are always superb. Have an older spread here from their February 2020 issue.

 Will pause here as I'm still trying to get that older variety show. My biggest wish was fulfilled as Yui's second photobook will be coming out on October 4th. There's a lot of books from Hina and Keya lately, four in a ten week period and hope so many don't affect sales. The top three are promo ones for the book which were in her last post but the other ten have come out since then. Hope they don't release too many promo pics for if they have too many terrific pics why buy the book? So far none of the steamier pics have been revealed and she did say there would be many in that vein!

 Am back and forgot to mention that this weekend Keya will be holding two concerts. They're the makeup ones from July 22nd and 24th for this year's 'W-Keyaki Fes', they had to cancel those concerts for a dozen members tested positive for the virus. They put on an entertaining show and hope at least one of those shows is streamed, the next group post will be next week and should have some pics from it. In that last post had a short segment from the August 10th 'Showroom', Yui was promoting the new PB and here's the video of whole show.

 

 

 Am back for the second time and was unable to get the variety show episode I wanted to end the post off with. Will be getting it by tonight or tomorrow but didn't want to wait that long and it's no big deal as that's something that can be included in Yui's next post. So instead have something I had never viewed which I think is from July 2018. Keya's seventh single "Ambivalent" came out in August 2018 and back then who knew they would have only one more single under the Keya name? There were special shows to promote the single called 'Keyakizaka X Hiragana Selfie TV' where there was a member from each group who teamed up to make a video for the single.

 However the videos had nothing to do with the song but they were still enjoyable and you can get the subbed versions at Broken Subs. In this eleven minute segment Yui was teamed up with Hiyori from Hiragana, now Hina, and think it was the first time they had ever done anything together. These days Hiyori looks so darn good but didn't she look so young back then which was four years ago? She's a second generation member who may have been slightly in awe of Yui. What the pair did in less than ten minutes was to construct a Sweets House which neither had ever done and it turn out to be yummy looking. The part of it being Selfie TV is somewhat true as the you can see one of them holding a mini camera at times or they had it still on their kitchen counter. Did learn a few things about the pair as they are alike and Yui is a gal who preferred to stay indoors but sure things have changed in four years. Yui also mentioned that back then the members had given her the nickname of Kobayui though I've never heard that used. This show isn't on YT but after the pics have a superb Yui video for the 'Uni's on Air' web game from last year though for once didn't have any new pics of the game for this post.
