Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Keyakizaka46: Their majestic fifteenth post for 2022....

Yui only posts a so-so amount of IG pics but I have to say the quality of them is close to unsurpassable! Those two above are brand new and to me could be the top new pics of the week! Not sure if I'll be mentioning her name again in this post(no!). Will end off with a recap from their 'Soko' variety show but haven't watched it yet, am writing this top part up a day in advance and don't know whether she'll have a lot of screen time. Next Sunday is Yui's 23rd birthday so am planning on having a pair of posts for her then, if you read the post two days ago about this year's faves list you know she's my current #1 and there's not much time left for anyone to overtake her!!!!

What's been extremely odd is the lack of recent posts for Hina. Their next single comes out in ten days but they've only had one post this month though Kyoko will have yet another this week, just figured there would have been so many more. Brought that up because Keya has had seven group or solo posts in the last two weeks. Few days ago did Yuuka's first post of the year and she is certainly popular here. Should have another post for her by the end of the month but not many more after that as she'll be graduating in less than two months. Of course it's not X-Mas time yet but her final Keya concert will probably be two weeks before that holiday.

Not as huge of a post as usual but don't like to see things pile up. Three days ago was Rina's 23rd birthday and these are some blog pics from that day. However there wasn't enough new things to have a post but think one may happen before the month ends.

Do have some Rina 'Uni's on Air' birthday pics though they are from last year. Also have four from last year for Hono who will be turning 24 on October 21st, both had a solo post last month and perhaps I should have waited a while longer before doing them. Keya's second generation members are all getting up there in age, only two are younger than twenty but one will hit that age in December.

More promo pics for the 'Uni's on Air' web game which are for their third anniversary, have two members who are Mizuho and Karin.

How about more pics of Mizuho which are from the October 8th Autumn 'Girls Award' show that was held in Chiba, she took her stroll on the Red Yazel stage.

Very mini mag spread here from the October issue of EX-Taishu. It features Rei who we've seen in plenty of spreads this year, she's joined by Fukuya who I haven't seen appear in a magazine in eons. Before I forget the group has a DVD coming out in three days from their December 9, 2021 first anniversary concert. Of course it was the first anniversary for the name change to Sakura as Keya has been around for seven years, hopefully we'll see an event which hasn't happened this year.

Mentioned that two Keya members are younger than twenty. One is Marino but she'll be hitting that age on December 19th, to me she's by far Keya's most stoic member. She has a decent sized spread here from the November issue of Entame.

In the last group post had a mini recap for their 'Soko' variety show, it was episode #97 that aired on September 9th. Continuing on from that this is #98 that aired exactly a week later and is part two of a game/challenge titled 'Praise Festival! Yep, that's Me!'. Seems so many Keya members have a problem with accepting praise or compliments, these two shows were supposed to help them with those problem but actually they never worked on any of them. But to a certain extent it may have helped a small bit as the members needed to swallow their humility and admit when they thought they were the tops at something such as being the cutest or most thoughtful, etc. Those were two categories in the first half of this challenge and there were five in all. Only a dozen members were on the shows so only four appeared in both, in this episode there were just three categories. I try not to go into too much detail with these mini recaps and let the screenshots speak for themselves, they go in order of the action.

First category was Who has the most silky and soft skin?', most members could lay a claim to that. The show's staff are who voted on these questions and was surprised there/s a total of fifty of them! Winning for best skin was a bit of a shock as it was the recent birthday girl Rina! To me she's become such an attractive woman and why hasn't Rina done any kind of modeling? Kira won the next category which was for 'Who pays the most respect to the staff?', that was a bit of a surprise too as most members thought the groups captain Yuuka would have won it. On to the last category and it will help to view the screenshots, this answered a question I had been wondering about. ***** Which was why Rika was still on these shows as her graduation concert took place on August 20th. She won the vote for being the member who cared the most about others and it was a long segment. That's because this was Rika's final time on the show and now she's officially graduated. Now that I think about it these shows are taped a few weeks in advance so this one may have been done right around August 20th. So for the last ten minutes of the show the members gave their thanks to Rika for her seven years in the group which sort of dragged on for too long. Rika turned 25 back on October 7th and she said that she wouldn't be continuing on in the entertainment field and will try to lead a 'normal life'.... one like us civilians! Must be difficult for most ex-Idols like her to make in in the regular world as the only thing they know is being an Idol and very few have other experiences or a college degree. Following the screenshots is a promo video for that first anniversary DVD that's coming out in three days.
