Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Kyoko Saito: Her astonishing 30th post....

As mentioned in a few recent posts seems every Idol photobook has to have a photo of them brushing their teeth! Won't be happening soon but having a post with the top pics of that activity would make for an interesting one and let me work on that for a while. In many of Kyoko's posts have moaned about how can she possibly have only XX amount of solo posts?! As you can see it's now up to thirty, went back to check and that total is correct. It shocked me that she only had three solo posts going into 2020 as almost everything up until that point were in Hina group posts. But in 2020 Kyoko had seven solo posts, that increased to nine last year and for 2022 we're already up to eleven, hopefully can squeeze another one or two in before the 'Nao Year' ends on November 30th.

With that increase in posts Kyoko has been steadily moving up on the yearly fave's list. In 2020 she was 17th but looking back she could have been a few positions higher. She jumped all the way up to sixth last year and as of now would have her in the third spot for 2022! It won't be easy but there is an outside shot of her moving up and my top three have kind of run away from the pack these last few months. In 2021 Kyoko was the most popular woman here among you viewers and that's determined by how many views their posts get. She won't be repeating this year but she's still immensely popular and would be shocked if she didn't finish in the top five.

Not a massive post as far as new pics go but do have a little bit of many things. In some really tremendous news Kyoko will be the cover girl for the ninth volume of BLT White Graph. That's like a mini photobook which has many Idols in it, their pics are so fabulous and a Nogi member has been the cover girl five times. The book doesn't come out until November 22nd, some promo pics for it.

The Autumn 'Girls Award' show was held on October 8th, Hina did perform a few songs but was surprised no members took a stroll on the catwalks. There's a 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show being held on November 19th in Kitakyushu and once again didn't see any Hina members listed to attend though some from Keya and Nogi will be there. Here's some old pics from the October 2019 Kitakyushu show and never did do a post back then for the Hina gals from the show.

Have even more pics from 2019 that had never been posted, none for any of the three '46 groups so you'll be seeing many more in the future. 'Otome Kagure: Zambi no Requiem' was a web game that began in the Spring of 2019 and featured some members of the three groups, just their voices though. There was even a stage play and of course a Nogi "Zambi" drama from that year which may have been their best series. No Hina or Keya members were in the drama and aren't we overdue for a show from those groups? So have a few of Kyoko's promo cards for the game which has ended, she voiced the character of Karen there's that something about her holding a machine gun in a wedding dress....

Kyoko always posted many pics at the Keya blog but has been doing more than ever though of course these days the pics are from her IG page which she opened back in April.

For the first time Kyoko is the center of a Hina single. 'Midnight' comes out in four days and hope I can have a group post next week. Will be on the hunt for some older Halloween pics and seems like she has more than anyone else in the group, top pic is new for their 'Mysterious Library' game.

Don't think this was in Kyoko's last post which is a tiny spread from the October issue of ar.

Will end off with this set and Kyoko is the cover girl for the October 27th issue of Young Jump. there's a few pics from the photo shoot mixed in. Not surprisingly there's no new decent solo videos and that's the case 98% of the time for '46' members. After the pics have a 2019 CM for Mechakari which I don't think has been posted before.
