Yui Kobayashi: Her most sizzling post to date!!!!
Every Idol photobook has at least one photo of them brushing their teeth and know there's some meaning to it but not quite 100% of what it is, perhaps how 'pure' they are? So I've seen hundreds of those pics by now and none and I mean none(!) can top that first pic! That's from Yui's second photobook which was just released today and most of this post will be devoted to it. The second photo is also from the book, her first one is one of my all time faves yet she's somehow outdone herself with this collection of pics!!!!
Just did a post for Yui last week and thought I wouldn't do her next until October 23rd which is her 23rd birthday. Actually was planning on having two that day with one being a recap of an old 'Keyakitte' episode. She will be at this Saturday's Autumn 'Girls Award' show so with any luck may be able to have a post a day or two after. But don't want to post too many pics so soon from her new book so it may be nineteen days until her next post. For the longest of time figured Yui would end up between the seventh and tenth spots on this years faves list. But her posts the last two months have been so terrific, as I've said over and over she's the most likable woman I post about so she's got an excellent chance of finishing as high as third on the list!
No matter how dazzling this new book is no pic will ever top that one right above which may be my #1 of all time! Been a while since we've seen any new pics from the With site but have some superb ones today. They even had a long interview with Yui and here's the link to it which is in three parts and it naturally discussed the new book: With site
Though this is a large post picture wise there won't be many sections. Just thought why not hold a few things back so there could be another post after this Saturday's show? Don't know if a post will be possible but why not try. Here's a short promo video for the new book with the Maidigitv site and to me they have the best YT channel.
Yui's first photobook came out in March 2019, she went to London for the photo shoot. Total sales were close to 50,000 copies sold but it deserved to be so much higher as it seemed to me there wasn't enough promoting of it. But this time around there has been and really hope this book is a big hit for Yui who I like so, so much and she's my current number one Idol. At this time a year ago she was on hiatus from Keya and I had thoughts she may not return which she obviously did. So even though her first post for 2022 wasn't done until March 24th she's already up to ten and may have fourteen by the end of the year! Here's a few pics you've seen in prior posts which are promo/outtake pics from the book. I've moaned so often how they release too many of those pics but that didn't happen this time around which may help sales.
Many fine pics above but those are just the tip of the iceberg as Yui in the book looks too good to believe.... that's not the first time I've said that about her!!!! The photo shoots took place in Yakushima and Yokahama, Yui said she was going for more of a 'mature theme' this time around. And she definitely succeeded as these pics from the photobook may make it #1 for the year!
Besides all of the pics so far the main reason for this post is that there was an event held today and it's the first time a '46' member has held one for a book in over two years. Have 37 pics but there are many more which will be in her next post. This wasn't a regular fan event but an interview and press conference that was held at the Kodansha bookstore in Gokokuji, Tokyo. Of course Yui looked so different than the above pics but to me still out of this world(!) and Idols always dress conservatively at photobook events. This was a good idea for an event and hope we see more of these in the future with '46' members. Usually they host 'Showroom' the day a book is released but those have grown tiring. Of course there's no video from the event and that's always been the way for Keya/Hina/Nogi solo events and wonder why? Did mention 'Showroom' and for the fourth time in six week Yui did host it last night to promote the book so have that video after the pics. EDIT: Forget that video as it was deleted, you ever wonder how many millions of videos have been deleted on YT?
