Keyakizaka46: Their slightly belated.... Happy New Year's post!!!!

 

 Only post for today, feeling lethargic to the Nth degree plus there isn't all that much happening and it may be that way for a few more days. Second post in a row for Keya, it may make some eyes roll but even though there isn't all that many new things there just may be four or more posts in the next nine days. It hasn't happened yet but Keya will finally be having a third generation, those new members should be introduced any day now. But with the new single coming out sure we won't be hearing too much about them for a while as the attention should be on the single and the current member. Even when they are introduced I won't be posting about them for a while, personally think the current size of the group is perfect at eighteen members. This will be very similar to the Keya Christmas post and you'll see why at the end. So while there hasn't been too many recent things still have well over a hundred new pics for this post.

 This will be the first single not featuring Risa and have been trying to have a post for her which hasn't worked out but sure there will be one by the end of the month. When she graduated there was a two part farewell special on the group's 'Soko' show. Also having one of them was the departed captain Yuuka and those two episodes were just subbed earlier this week. Viewed the first one and will be watching the second over the weekend. After that will have two mini recap posts for her final appearances on the show so you should be seeing them on Sunday or Monday.

 The title for the group's 14th single, fifth as Sakura, was announced a few days ago. "Sakuratsuki" is the title and guess that could be a slight play on their name. Rena will be the center and bet that shocked so many fans but I'm glad that it wasn't one of the more obvious members. The single won't be coming out until February 15th so there's no video of it yet, probably in about two weeks. But do have some early promo pics for the single, will have all of the members in upcoming posts.

 That bottom pic is from the Lawson site and there will be a new campaign tied-in with the single. As mentioned Rena will be the center and even just a few months ago who could have seen that happening???? Been wanting to do a post for Rena but that too hasn't worked out, main reason for wanting to do it is because on January 2nd she hit the ripe old age of 23! These are new birthday pics from the 'Uni's on Air' game and have plenty more to end the post off with.

 On January 14th three members will be at the 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show being held in Shizuoka, next group post should be the day after. The vast majority of this post is for New Year's pics but have a few oddball things such as some new Hikaru modeling pics from the ar magazine site.

 Have some recent blog pics from  Keya's new captain Rina, she too is so tough to do solo posts for and as you can see in the bottom two pics she still fraternizes with the enemy....

 Before we get to those New Year's pics let's have a few more new things from a member who is Minami. The superb cards came out in November and the others are recent pics from the group's 'Diary' blog, not many members have opened an IG page.

 We've hit the final segment which will be in five parts, they total up to be 72 pics. All are brand new for the 'Uni's on Air' web game and the theme for New Year's is being at a Circus, no clue what that's supposed to mean! There's eighteen current members in Keya, just five are remaining from the first generation so that means there's thirteen 2G members and will begin off with them first. These parts will have four pics for each member and leading the festivities off will be Rina I., she'll be turning 22 on January 29th and hope to have her first ever solo post right around then. After that is Hikari and while she doesn't look it she'll be turning 24 in April. Third in this batch is Ten who will be at next week's TGC show, with new gals coming aboard she may no longer be the youngest member! Up last is the other Yui and she too has a birthday coming up which is in March and is the only member ever to turn a year older in that month. 

 Leading off this second batch of four members is Marina, so many Keya gals celebrate a birthday in the Winter as she turned twenty two weeks ago. Up next is Hono who led off the post, have you noticed how her hair has been getting a bit more red with each passing month? Up third is Karin and seemed most fans felt she would be the center for the upcoming single. In the cleanup spot is Kira, she too will be celebrating a birthday in January which will be in six days and as I've often said how many times have you ever seen her smile????!

 This last batch of pics for New Year's will feature the remaining five second generation members. First up is the group captain Rina and doesn't she look so darn attractive these days!!!! Hikaru is second and two weeks ago had her second solo post, like the first it wasn't all that popular. Third up is Rena and nothing more to add in about her but would think we'll be seeing so much more of her soon. Rounding out this set is the black belter Rei and Akiho, she won't be at next week's TGC show but she does hail from Shizuoka. 

 Five more members to go who are all from the first generation, can we go the whole of 2023 without losing any of them? Have a trio in this set who are Minami and already mentioned her in the beginning. After that is Mizuho and she will be at that show next weekend, hard to believe but don't think she's ever had a solo post. Neither has Fuyuka who is last up for this set, she'll be turning 25 on February 15th which is the date when Keya's next single will be released.

 Whew, this ended up being one very long post. Up last for these New Year's photos is Keya's third Rina and yesterday finally did her first ever solo post, didn't think it would be popular and sadly so far am correct with my prediction. Always save the best for last so that naturally mean it's last year's #1 fave Yui and her first post of 2023 will be in eight days. Keya did appear at the MTV VMAJ show which took place ten days ago, they did four songs and after the pics is a video of them doing "Ban".
