Miona Hori: A (too) little bit of this and that....

 

 Not too large of a post but it's seldom when there can be back to back ones for two of my top three Nogi members of all time, perhaps it's never happened! Speaking of Nogi, not that we were, soon the final two first generation members will be graduating. And it was just announced that the sole second generation member has a photobook coming out.... when a member has a book these days it's 95% certain that it's one for a graduation! So that'll mean zero members will be left from Nogi's 'Golden Days' and you can understand then why I don't follow the group all that closely these days, bet there's many more fans out there just like me. Now Nogi has become a 'cover group' of themselves as soon no member will have performed on any song that was released before 2017 or their 18th single.

 Last year Miona finished in the 18th position on the fave's list, quite a drop from 2020 when she was second! This is her third post in six weeks so really hope she can make a return to the top ten, think in 2021 she was ninth. But the last few years have noticed a pattern with Miona which is that she's quite busy during the cooler months, say from October to March. Last year she also started off with many posts but after April those posts dried up, she was in a few dramas but didn't do much else. Miona just had a post eight days ago but she was at an event yesterday plus there's some oldie things I wanted to post so thought why not have this before things get dated.

 This is Miona's 189th post and she's on the verge of possibly being the last woman to hit a milestone. That's of having 200 posts and though it may not happen until next year can't see anyone else ever hitting that mark, certainly no one who has been introduced the last few years. Though a bit of a smallish post as far as new pics are concerned there are quite a few oldies which many of you have never seen before. First though are some photos from Miona's IG page, not many as her last post was just eight days ago but there are more new ones in the final batch of pics.

 Didn't want these older pics to get too dated which is another reason for this post. In the one below this for a slightly larger Nogi fave mentioned that January 22nd, today, is the halfway point of two holidays. One of them is New Years and here's some older Miona cards of Nogi that hadn't been posted, there was also a New Years series at one time called Lucky Bag.

 Wouldn't call Valentine's Day a major holiday though it's become much larger in Japan than in America, more older Nogi cards for this day with many never posted before.

 Going to have two videos in this post, the second will be at the bottom for the event that took place yesterday. Miona has her own YT Vlog and while she doesn't post a huge amount of videos all are quite interesting and at times funny, here's her latest from two days ago.

 

 In Miona's last post had a terrific new magazine spread but no new ones for today. So let's go way back in time for this super duper and large set from the March 21, 2017 issue of Manga Action. The last two years has seen a huge decrease in magazine spreads for '46' members, that includes ones who have graduated. That hasn't been the case for (ex)members from HKT, NMB or perhaps Morning Musume as their gals don't mind doing gravure spreads. 

 Final set of pics are from an event held yesterday. It was for the second 'Japan Horror Film Awards' show and Miona was also at the first one where those event pics were her best ever! She looked mighty fine at this awards show too which was held at the EJ Anime Theater in Shinjuku, Miona was on the selection committee and handed out an award.
