Always wait at least three months before posting a '46' photobook as not to affect sales, that's thirteen weeks. It's now been fifteen weeks since the book was released on December 20th so sure any fans that wanted to buy it already have. This is another case of me writing a post well ahead of time, didn't have any time Monday to write anything up so did this in advance, came here for a minute at the witching hour to hit publish and sure most are glad for that as this could is be the best photobook to date this year! What I've noticed over the last two years is how large Hina photobooks are and by a wide margin over most others. The majority of books are often 100-125 pages which is certainly big enough. This book had 188 pages and did whittle it down a bit to 167 as there was some needless photos but even that number makes this the largest book I've ever posted. One of the best too and don't know when but someday will do some sort of list for my favorite '46' member photobooks, really just about every one has been terrific.
When it was announced that this photobook was coming out I was a bit torn about it. I've liked
Miku for a while and just wish she was a few years older. Her 'innocent ways' are so appealing which not enough J-Pop Idols have and would her image be tarnished with this book? Not at all as
Miku looks so overly fabulous, thought her gravure pics were done in a classy way and actually every pic in this book is a winner!
Miku doesn't have the figure of a gravure model or other Idols but in my eyes she looks better than most of them and bet the majority of you viewers will agree with that. So to date this is my #1 photobook since December 1st when the 'Nao Year' began and it could be a tough book to top.
Miku went all over Japan for the photo shoots, of course the Winter photos were taken in Hokkaido and the other locations were Kyoto, Wakayama and Kagoshima,
Miku herself comes from Saitama. This book was a solid seller as it sold close to 110,000 copies when it was on the charts, sure it sold more at Hina concerts plus don't think overseas sales count for chart sales. Enough blabbering and let's get to this huge book, that above photo is my number one alluring pic of the year to date.
