Haruka Fukuhara: A (way too) few recent happenings....

 

 Few days ago did say once the calendar flipped to May there would be a lot more posts. Which is true though don't think that'll be happening for a few more days but this will be a busier month than April just a long as my laptop can continue breathing. April was one of those months which happen on occasion where too many faves disappear at the same time, it was just a thirty day month but to me it seemed to go on for an eternity!

 But the silver lining for April was that I was able to do a pair of posts for Haruka. That may not seem like a big deal but it had been close to a year since her last post and as time went on will admit to missing doing posts for her as she is such a massive fave of mine. This will be one of the smallest posts of the year but trying to make up for lost time, Haruka has been doing many more activities as of late which I hope continues. My other hope was that Haruka would take a long break between dramas as she's been in too many the last few years. I do think she's a fine actress but too much exposure at times can be a negative. 

 It'll be a three month break between dramas for Haruka to brush up on her billiards. "18/40: Futan Nara Yume mo Koi mo" is the title of her next series that begins in July. The synopsis sounds somewhat interesting plus it does star another huge fave of mine so will check that show and my 'Need to watch' list has too many dramas to count! Haruka has a fan club site and have always wondered how many people sign up at those sites. On June 3rd Haruka will be holding an event for the members, the top three pics here are new ones from her site.

 This Thursday the Spring 'Girls Award' show will be held and don't know if Haruka will be in attendance, too lazy to check that site again. Hope she's there as those 'Girls Award' shows are the best in my eyes and there won't be another for a few months. Have one new mini magazine spread that's from the April 20th issue of Weekly Bunshun.

 Most of Haruka's posts haven't received as many views as they deserve and could it be because of new gravure pics? That's probably true and its a shame for I think she has the second most attractive face of any woman I post often about. So because of her popularity being only so-so you may have missed this spread when she was the cover girl for the April 14th issue of Friday.

 Speaking of the woman who has the most attractive face she'll be having a post in another hour or so. The pair do have a few pics together though wish there were many more.

 Both of those above spreads were promoting a new Haruka photobook titled "Gift". However it wasn't a regular book and her only one in that vein came out in August 2018 on her 20th birthday. This book was taken on the set of her Asadora "Mai Agare!" that ended a month ago. The book was to celebrate the ending of the series, the photo shoots took place in Nagasaki and the Goto islands which is where the morning drama was filmed. No gravure pics but sure the book is still a fine one, would be to me and any other Haruka fans. In its first week out the book was #6 on the charts for sales, the top three pics below are from the book. On April 23rd there was an event for the book and after these terrific pics check out a video of the event.
