Miru Shiroma: Her stupefying second photobook "Re:Born" scans

Not much more I can ever say about Miru who is one of may all time top J-Pop Idols. Have talked about having some sort of list for my hottest ever Idols which I may never get to, not exactly sure where Miru would end up but thinking around the fifth position and there would be three NMB members in the top ten. It's been a low stretch for Miru as of late, she did have four posts last year but none since October which was for her 25th birthday. But I'm expecting the posts to pick up for a while as a huge and pleasant bombshell was dropped about her a few weeks back. Which is that Miru's third photobook will be coming out in June and that came out of nowhere. To date have just seen five promo photos for the book but would think we'll soon be hearing more from Miru as there should be some upcoming magazine spreads, an event and more promo pics for the book.

The problem for Miru is how does she top her first photobook which was close to perfect?!!!! "Love Rush" came out in June 2019 and was a solid seller with close to 30,000 copies sold in it's first thee weeks out and bet the total is well over 40 K by now. March 2020 is when I posted the pics from the photobook and to say it was a HIT would be an understatement! In a little over three years that post has received close to 15,000 views(!) which makes it the most popular post since 2020, sure most reading this have seen that post and agree how it's so difficult to top.

"Re:Born" was released on July 7, 2021 which was six weeks before Miyu left NMB so this was considered to be her graduation sendoff. Sales weren't nearly as high as in it's first two weeks out it sold 10,000 copies but sales for all books were way down in 2021, perhaps it's gotten up to 20K for sales by now. This is a solid book and Miru looks just as good as she did in her first photobook. My biggest beef is with the photos as way too many of them are just half a page but as you can see above she didn't leave all that much to our imaginations! The photo shoot took place on the island of Yakushima, first time Miru said she had been there and she hails from Osaka. On to the pics which are of course stupendous though will admit "Love Rush" was the better book, there's 89 pics and books from '48' members aren't nearly as huge as the ones from the '46' groups. Hopefully will be back very soon with more info and pics for Miru's upcoming photobook.
