Ayane Suzuki: Her unpretentious "Hikari no Kakudo" photobook scans

Was going to publish this tomorrow but doing it now as I may not have been able to do it then. About a week or so ago was saying how horrible I have been feeling which is why I had taken a day off. Here we are a week later and my condition has gotten even worse and I'm one of those very stubborn people who only go to a doctor as a last resort. So if you don't hear from me for a few days odds are good I've gotten even worse and need to rest up but hopefully it won't come to that.

Sorry for beginning off with a slightly sob story but if I'm not going to be around for more than a day like to keep you viewers informed. On to Ayane and just yesterday was saying how there's been such a decrease in the second generation's post-Nogi activities save for one member. Ayane was the final 2G member to graduate which happened this March/April but being sick at the time meant there could be no grad concert. Don't know how many real long time Nogi fans are still visiting here but if there are you probably recall her early days. Going back to 2013-16 on their variety shows Ayane was just way too quiet and timid, perhaps using the word introvert would describe her better. But as years went on she did begin to open up and she may have been the most talented of all the 2G members as far as acting goes. Not sure what her current status is, she did say she may retire from show biz which she said on April 1st but also may have needed a longish break.

Was a bit surprised Ayane had a photobook that wasn't a graduation one as this was released in November 2020. This is a very odd book, it had close to 120 pages but almost 25% of those pages didn't feature Ayane as they were pics of the ocean, a forest, building, etc. Three of the above pics were from the photo shoot and added them in just to bump up the picture count. The photo shoot took place in Tahiti and it was the last Nogi book to be shot outside of Japan until this year. At over 55,000 copies sold this was a decent seller and only two other 2G members had a book that outsold this one. Ayane always gave off the impression of being a very smart woman which she is but don't think she ever attended college, lot of the pics are of her reading or looking very studious. Let's get to the book which contain 92 pics though as mentioned was larger, Ayane does look quite good but wish there were a few more gravure pics as this is one of Nogi's more conservative photobooks. The title of the book translates over to 'Angle of Light'.
