Yui Kobayashi: Forget ruling the Galaxy.... two years being Nao's #1 Queen is her main goal!!!!

 

 Will get more into that as it appears Yui does have the edge to be my number one fave again though there are close to three months before #1 is revealed. Was going to try having a Keya group post for today but that didn't work out which isn't a bad thing. It was just announced their seventh single since the name change to Sakura will be coming out on October 18th and that will be their third single in a little over six months. Nice to see the group so much busier and that was a bit of a surprise. The lineup for the single will be announced this Sunday on their 'Soko' show so will have a post next week with the details. Also about the group's next graduate who will be Mizuho and she'll be leaving at the end of November, more info on her coming up also. 

 Hate to see her leave which was a bit of a surprise to me. But at least it means Yui will be around for a while longer, have to figure there wouldn't be another graduation until next Spring. At this time last year was finishing up my second 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list, Yui was in the sixth position. At the time said if she could remain with Keya for at least two, hopefully three years she'd have an excellent chance of moving up to the top spot on the next list which would be done in 2026. So the massive question is will Yui stick around for at least one more year? Hope it's at least two and her graduation may will hit me harder than anyone else.

 As the heading says Yui's goal(!) is to be number one for the second year in a row on my fave's list. Up until July would have had her in the second position but she moved up to number one back then and has actually increased her edge over #2. Her first post in October will mark seventeen consecutive months with a post and that'll be a new record! It will also be her fifteenth for 2023 so that will set a personal record and she should end up with at least seventeen by the time November ends.

 There should be two posts next month also, thinking one on October 1st and the second right around the 23rd as that's the date Yui will be hitting the age of 24. Her last post was done jut thirteen days ago and there hasn't been much going on since then as I bet her and the other Keya members are working on the new single. However do have about forty new pics and over 25 older ones that have never been seen here before. Such as this first mini batch which are more that I found from the September 2nd 'Tokyo Girls Collection' Autumn show with the bottom ones being from her IG page.

 That first post for October will feature pics from the September 30th 'Girls Award' Autumn show. Did some investigating and think Yui's first ever appearance at a fashion show was at their October 15, 2016 show but sadly there weren't many photos from it. Probably because Keya had been around for only a year and the members weren't too well known at the time.

 That bottom pic shows the other Keya members who will be at the September 30th show. After that first 'Girls Award' show Yui also did an interview with the Model Press site and it's the earliest interview I've seen from her. She was dressed differently than the above pics for the interview was after Keya did a mini concert.  One more batch of older pics which are exactly four years old and are Keya cards for the Autumn/Summer of 2019, those bottom three get a grade of A++++ from me. These had never been posted before and the group didn't have many more cards that came out after these.

 Had those above for once again the promo pics for the 'Uni's on Air' game are late coming out. In three years that had never happened and now it has three months in a row? Yui does have her own IG page and does upload some terrific pics but wish she had more of them. These are from the last two weeks though three of the photos were taken in August.

 There hasn't been any new modeling pics from the With site since mid July and hope she's still working with them. Back in March Yui did become a part-time model for the andGirl site and will end off with this spread from their September issue which is easily her top spread of the year!!!! Keya does have a second YT channel that opened in May and features more member orientated videos. However Yui has yet to upload a solo one and what's she waiting for? There hasn't been any other new videos so after the pics have a nice bonus which is her first even one for the With magazine and that came out five years ago, of course she looked so different back then!
