Yui Kobayashi: Who better to begin September off with????

 

 You may be scratching your head over the post title thinking.... 'Nao, are you losing it even more as this is the fourth post for September!?'. While that is true have come to the point where a month doesn't begin until Yui has a post!!!! Hmmmm, so what would happen if she did go a month without a post? That's a question which I hope doesn't need to be answered for a long, long time. This makes sixteen consecutive months with a post which ties the all time record and what a comeback she's had since her brief hiatus that began almost two years ago to the day. So October will make a new record as there's no doubt seventeen consecutive months will be hit and how high can she go?!

 August wasn't a strong month for my bigger faves or at least the ones that should make the top ten on the yearly faves list. Yui had a good reason for being semi quiet as she was in a stage play but was busy most of the month. Can't say the same for most other women except for the ones who as of now will be in the fourth and fifth positions on the list. Would have to say for now Yui has inched back up to being my #1 of the year and I truly think she will be the Queen here two years in a row. Plus at this rate she is moving ever so closer to being my number one woman of all time though that third list wouldn't be done until 2026.

 This is a good sized post with over sixty pics that have never been seen here before. Could have worked harder to make it larger but held back for another possible September post plus at least one for October. This could be a slower stretch for Keya coming up, haven't heard any news of about another single for the year plus doubt if they would go on tour once again. There will be a pair of shows at the end of November for the group's third anniversary since the name change to Sakura and sadly one will be a graduation concert. Let's begin off with some recent pics from Yui's IG page and once again will say wish she posted more of them. First two are pics she added in August from the group's Paris trip, bottom ones are from when Keya appeared at the Japan Expo in Malaysia three weeks ago. And there's a trio from the final night of her first stage play "Three Villains of the Hidden Fort" that ended on August 27th and hope her outside acting roles begin to increase.

 No new Yui promo pics for the group's 'Saku Koi' web game that began in July but she did get together with her two close mates to send me a personalized message....

 Hmmmm, shouldn't the message say We unless it's just one from Yui!!!! Do have her August promo pics for the 'Uni's on Air' web game which came out three weeks later than usual.

 Here's an historical batch of pics which may be the highlight of this post! This magazine spread had never been posted here before and is from the May 2017 issue of Best Direct, think it was her first regular sized mag spread.

 Back in July had a post that featured some screenshots from the June 18th 'Soko' variety show/ At the time it wasn't subbed but that happened a few weeks back so could understand what happened much better. It was episode #137 which was part two of an acting challenge between the members. This episode began off with a bunch of five second skits that had to improvised on the spot. Yui wasn't in any of those skits but she had her own which lasted for over two minutes. She played a detective who with her partner were on the hunt for a killer who sadly shot her first!!!! After the first few lines the script had to be made up on the spot and Yui did an excellent job at telling her partner he owed her money for the lunches she bought him! That was all while she was slowly dying from the gunshot wound and these screenshots go in order of the action, as mentioned earlier would love to see her do more acting.

 No new modeling pics for today even though Yui is a model for two sites. That's not a bad thing as it may mean she has a lot coming out and that would be a good start for her second September post. Will end off with this batch of pics which I wish was much larger, earlier today the first Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show was held at the Saitama Super Arena and she doesn't come far from there. Yui always appears at these shows and took her stroll on the Rage Blue stage. Not enough pics but very often many do come out about four days after a show took place. No videos from the event yet and those also tend to come out a few days after the fact. There's been no other newish videos but after the pics have one from the August 21st 'Showroom'. It was hosted by the five remaining first generation members who will be down to just four at the end of November. It does last for an hour but was entertaining, just once would love to see this show subbed.
