Keyakizaka46: A belated 'Happy 24th Birthday' for their captain.... Rina Matsuda!

 

 This may be a post which will end up being one of the most unpopular ones of the year but that's okay as she's someone I've grown to like quite a bit. Birthday #24 took place exactly a week ago, that was Friday the 13th and didn't want to be like Jason and give her bad luck so held off until now. As the title says Rina is Keya's captain and she's had the position for almost  a year now. This is only her third solo post and save for 3-4 members it's been tough to do many for most gals from the first and second generations. Don't know if anyone agrees but to me Rina is such an underrated beauty and wonder how she would look in her own photobook? Wouldn't mind finding out, there is a graduation book coming out next month but in the past eleven months there's only been one other Keya photobook.

 If you were hoping for some dazzling gravure photos you're out of luck with this post though to me the pics all get a grade of at least an A+. Keya has had many more group posts this year but it's been a few weeks since their last one. What I've noticed over the last year or so is a very odd trend. Which is when they release a single there's so little to post about the group and shouldn't it be the other way where there's too many things to post? That should be the case but it seems to never happen, Keya's newest single came out three days ago and is selling very well. So let me work on a post and keep your fingers crossed that at least one can be done within the week.

 So while this may not be a popular post as far as how many views it receives bet Rina has a decent sized fan base here. So this should be a post you'll really enjoy as there will be close to a hundred pics! Some are new and also others have been in group posts but it's nice to see everything all in one post. Let's begin off with some pics from Keya's 'Diary' group blog, Rina doesn't have an IG page and still posts her info and pics at the blog. The first photo is the only one from her 24th birthday and many are from the "Love It" variety show where she has a weekly segment.

At the beginning of each month the members post a monthly message at the Keya site. These are from the past eight months which go backwards from October to March.

 There haven't been too many recent Keya group cards but there should be soon for the current single. Have some super duper ones for Rina here, the bottom eight had been posted in a group blog but those cards dressed in blue and orange needed to be seen again, WOW! The ones before that had never been in a post and they're for the previous single "Start Over".

 Here's something I wasn't aware of until a few days ago. On January 14th she attended the kickoff event for 'Tokyo Anime Tourism 2023', really just an event to promote the anime industry which already is so huge. Rina is a massive anime fan, have noticed so aren't many other members from Keya and Hina. Shame this was her only event for the campaign and they didn't make her some sort of ambassador.  

 What a shortage of magazine spreads this year for the Keya members, don't know why as their popularity seems to be on the increase again. So that means there's no new mag spreads for her today so lets go back in time to October 2019 and the Autumn issue of Platinum Flash. It also features the oldest Rina of the group, there is one other member with that name so I've never understood why the trio haven't had some sort of 'Rina' song, bet the video for that tune would be quite entertaining. 

 While the above duo looks oki doki together it's a requirement in solo posts to be paired with my #1 current Idol who has been that way for over a year. In an odd twist she too turns 24 this month and that will take place in two days.

 We've hit the end and if you're a Rina fan hope this was a decent post for you. Once again the monthly promo pics for the 'Uni's on Air' web game are late coming out but they did release birthday pics for her which are the top four. Then after them go back in time for her other monthly pics for the game which go from September until June, four pics a month. Keya opened their second YT channel in May which features mainly solo videos for the members. Nine days ago Rina uploaded her second solo video and that's after the pics, it's very enjoyable as she just bought a gaming PC and said she's a novice at it, I'd highly recommend viewing this fun video.
