Rika Izumi: Happy 35th Birthday!!!!

 

 October seems to have more birthdays than any other month as far as my bigger faves go but September isn't too far behind. Did four birthday posts last month and think the same will be done in October though as I've said many times before these birthday posts are really the same as any others. These days hitting a hundred posts has become such a rare milestone and especially for an actress/model. Rika's first post was done in July 2017 or 87 months ago, this is her 88th post and only two others have topped that total since then. But it's still going take over a year for her to hit a hundred as these posts have been slowing down.

 This is only her sixth post for 2023 but some of that blame goes to me as I probably could have done two more. But this does make it the seventh year in a row that Rika has qualified for the yearly faves list which is a record. She won't have a high position on the list but her previous six years has finished third, fourth, sixth, fifth, second and last year twelfth so you can tell she's one of my all time faves. Speaking of the all time list Rika was in the eighth spot and I like her as much as ever 😍 but it's harder to have posts for her these days and sadly it appears we may never see any more gravure photos.

 Though only post #6 for 2023 her posts are much larger than most others and bet there will be close to a hundred pics in this post. Rika's 35th birthday actually takes place tomorrow and she's the oldest woman I consistently post about. But she's still among the hottest women in the world and blows away 99.99% of those younger than her! First off are some recent pics from her IG page and she never posts many, bottom four are older ones from previous birthdays.

 Will try to have another post for Rika this month or in early November so she can have a bit of momentum for this year's faves list. Before that you may be seeing a few drama recaps from her just completed series and in all honesty had slightly forgotten about it. Season one of "Gifted" aired from August 12th until September 30th for eight episodes. Did say in her last post would be viewing it but got so wrapped up in a pair of Korean shows it had slipped my mind. But not now as I just skimmed though episode one which was a decent watch. There's also going to be a second season and that starts up in four days. So for now don't have a plan on when the recaps will begin but it will be soon enough and may even do season two if it's subbed.

 In this drama she plays the role of Mito Ryuzaki who is a police detective and is partnered up with a younger man named Amakusa. The catch to this series is that while investigating a death of a wanna-be Idol Amasuka met this high school senior named Shiki at the scene. This youngster picked out the killer(!) and soon helps the local police department out on cases as he has this odd power to see the 'shadows' of killers! Lot more to the drama than that and her role is fairly big, few screenshots from episode one.

 Prior to 2020 Rika was only a part time actress but has been so busy the last three years and has even had the lead role in two dramas. But modeling is by far the activity she does the most and as I've said before her modeling pics are so super duper and in my eyes she looks better than women who have to dress very skimpy. So like most of Rika's posts from the last two years the majority of things will be modeling pics and at almost 35 in age doesn't she still look ultra perfect?! Of course the answer is YES and first off is this batch for the Mercury Duo Autumn collection.

 Rika has been a model for the Oggi magazine since May 2019 and last year they celebrated their 50th anniversary. This next set is from their November issue and bet over the last four years she's been their cover girl at least twenty times.

 It's nice to be a bit nostalgic in Rika's posts as she has some truly outstanding older magazine spreads. As mentioned above it sadly appears her days of doing gravure photos is a thing of the past and very few women can top her figure, WOW!!!! So let's go way back in time for this set that's from the March 30, 2017 issue of Young Jump.

 For about the last year or so have been ending her posts with new modeling pics from the Stola site. That's because those pics are always so terrific and this new batch for their Autumn collection continues that streak! At one time Rika used to do so many CM's and seemed like she had a new one every month but it's been a while since her last one. After the pics have a real ancient video from early 2016 and a photo shoot for Ray magazine, shame there's never been a video for her gravure spreads.
