Risa Watanabe: Her illuminating 74th post....
Over the last 3-4 years some women have seen such a huge increase in the amount of views their posts get. Not so for Risa who at one time was so popular here but that doesn't seem to be the case these days. Back in 2019 her posts for that year had an average of over 1,100 views, these days her posts don't even get half that total! Sure she still has many fans who visit here but what happened to the rest of them and was graduating from Keya a big reason for her drop in popularity?
Risa hasn't dropped at all to me, even though the past year has been a bit slower for her would consider her to still be my #1 woman of all time! That title refers to this being her 74th solo post and that's a high number for 5 1/2 years, think only one other woman can top that. But this is just Risa's eighth post for 2023 and it appears her steak of making the top seven on the yearly faves list will end at five years. But she still will make the list which is something that can't be said for so many who seem to have faded away the last few years.
This should be a terrific post with many pics, some oldies and many that are brand new. None are gravure pics and that's often a reason someone sees a big decrease in their popularity. First off are some recent photos from Risa's IG page, she never posts all that many of them and she never did at the Keya blog either. The top two are from last weekend's 'Girls Award' show and will end off with many pics from the event.
It being October thought I would have some Halloween pics but sadly Risa doesn't even have five of them! So how about some superb older cards from 2018 for the 'Keyakise' web game and the top ten do have an Autumn theme to them.
The last few months have seen a decrease in modeling pics from the Non-no site. That's a shame as to me the pics seem to be getting so much better but least she's still a model for the magazine and these are from the past month.
Earlier this year Risa was in her first non-Keya drama but her role was just way too small. That's not the case for her brand new drama that began two nights ago and she'll be playing a key part in this series. Which is called "Black Familia: Shindoke no Fukushu", no word yet if the drama will be subbed but I really hope so as it looks like one intense series and would have watched it even without her in it. If it does get subbed will of course be recapping the entire series. Have some screenshots here from the first episode, it lasted 43 minutes and these go up to the 25 minute mark.
In the drama she plays the role of Sana Shindo who is about 25 in age and is an aspiring journalist. Sana still lives with her parents, also in the household is the mother's brother and Sana's younger sister Riria. However at about the twenty minute mark in this first episode Riria died when she fell from a school roof.... was she pushed? The Shindo family had witnessed Riria falling as they went to the school to investigate why she hadn't shown up for her birthday party. The parents after were so devastated and it seems Sana has to hold the family together plus as a journalist will be investigating the death(murder?). Playing Riria is the gal who was Neon in the "Kamen Rider Geats" series and did recap about twenty of those shows. So am really hoping this show gets subbed and it's only been two days since this first episode aired so would be surprised if a subbing team doesn't pick this up.
As is the case for most Idols when they graduate Risa has seen a huge decrease in magazine spreads. Least we have many older ones that are fabulous and bet many have never seen or have forgotten some of those ancient ones. Such as this set here that's almost five years old and is from the January 2019 issue of 20+ Sweet.
Risa still attends all of the huge fashion shows and don't know if there will be any more this year. On September 30th she was at the Autumn 'Girls Award' show held at the Makuhari Messe Hall in Chiba. Risa took two strolls on the catwalk, this set is from the Top of the Hill stage. Of course she looked terrific but have noticed models dress so much more conservatively these days at shows.
To end the post off have pics of Risa's second stroll from the show which was on the Sly stage. There is a video from the show but after the pics have a more interesting one. Which is a promo video of the new 'Black Familia' drama for the first episode and it was a promising start to the series.
