Miku Tanaka: Her last post as a HKT member?

 

 It is debatable if she still is a member of HKT so in a way perhaps it could be titled her first post since leaving. Miku's final HKT Theater performance was on December 29th but her graduation concert isn't going to take place until March 9th and guess it doesn't really matter what the title is as save for that concert she isn't doing any more HKT activities. As I've moaned about before what a horrible stretch it's been for my fave Idols graduating, those will be slowing down for it won't be too long until none of my faves are left!

 It has been a slower stretch for Miku as this is only her second post since late October. Hard to complain though as since her first debut post in October 2022 she's had 25 of them and no Idol has appeared in more magazines than she has the last two years. Know that she will be in a drama beginning at the end of February but besides that not too much else has been going on or at least that has been announced. Like so many of you fans hope Miku doesn't slow down with her gravure modeling but wouldn't be surprised if it does happen. Then again maybe we'll see some different kinds of things such as some digital books and hopefully some videos or DVD', to date she really hasn't any videos from her photo shoots.

 But as I've said Miku leaving HKT isn't a bad thing as they could have held her career back a bit and it didn't help that there's no longer collaborations between AKB and their sister groups. First off are these recent photos from her IG page and the bottom ones are from Miku's final theater performance which took place on December 29th and at the time had to take her photo off the wall from being an active member.

 That bottom pic is actually a promo one for Miku's final HKT concert that will be taking place at the Sun Plaza in Fukuoka on March 9th. Fukuoka is the home base for HKT which is where their theater is also located, some photos from the final show that were at the group site as I don't think the concert was streamed but think her final performance will be.

 It's been a while since there were any HKT group cards so guess I won't be able to post any newish ones in the future. But do have some older Miku Valentine's cards, not sure if the top four are for the holiday but they look so darn good had to include them.

 Bit of a slowish stretch for Miku magazine spreads and that's been a rarity over the last two years. But do have a trio of new ones for today though the first two are a bit too small. first up is this set from the January issue of EX-Taishu.

 Second mini spread is from the February edition of Entame. Sadly it looks like Miku won't be having a graduation photobook and wonder why that is for she is HKT's most popular member and bet it would have been a decent seller. This past year we've seen so fewer photobooks from the more popular Idols and I really can't think of many good reasons for that.

 Will end off with a much larger spread as Miku was the cover girl for the February 5th issue of WPB, no Idol has had more covers than her the past two years. Of course there's no video from the photo shoot but after the pics is one promoting her final HKT concert. The music to it is quite a rockin' tune but the group doesn't do such upbeat songs but all in all the group's singles have been very good though wish they would release more of them.
