Miku Kanemura: Another huge favorite who we've all sorely missed....

 

 Have weened off doing posts for J-Pop Idols and have to confess I really don't miss doing them though of course for today's honoree I had been. Things change and that's the way of the world, the groups I was once followed closely will never be what they once were and that's not a sad thing to happen as I never did begin this blog to have posts for Idols. There have been a pair of terrific photobook posts but this is the first regular one in three months for any Hina member. At the beginning of August four on the same day(!) announced their graduations, those departures will be taking place after the release of the group's next single. So am thinking November is when we'll see those graduation concerts, two of the members I still like a lot and will be doing posts for them and one of those could happen by the end of the month. There still are a few J-Pop Idols who I still keep tabs on, in a shock three are from AKB and should have a post this week for one of them.

 Last year Miku occupied the second position on the fave's list and by the end of April thought she may have that spot again and possibly give #1 a run for her money! Sadly neither will probably take place as this is her first post since May 7th and what happened to her? Miku has been slightly busy but not at the level she once was and no active Idol had more posts that she did from the beginning of 2023 until this May. So Hinas management pushing the new 4G members has come at the expense of their more popular members and how's that paid off???? It hasn't as the group's popularity has seen a decrease n the last sixteen months, their singles are still selling about the same amount of copies they once did but have noticed that hasn't been the case for their concerts. Enough group talk and this will be a big post with fifty new pics but it could have been much larger. Just before I began this decided wouldn't it be better to hold back 15-20 newish pics and have two medium sized posts for Miku instead of a massive one? That sounded like a wise decision to me so expect another post just before Halloween or perhaps even sooner if many things pop up, with a strong ending to 2024 Miku could still finish in the top five on the fave's list.

 Fifty or so new pics is a decent total for a post but not when its been over four months since your last one! Have no new event pics and it's so odd that no member was at the Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show that was held two weeks ago as I can't recall that happening before. No recent magazine spreads but will have an oldie further down plus the second generation members will be the cover girls for the November issue of BLT so perhaps that will be in her next post. Can only think of one Hina member that posts more pics at the group blog, have a good amount of pics here but could have had more as they only go back to August 1st. As you can see the first three and bottom two are for Miku's 22nd birthday which took place on September 10th. My faves are the fourth and fifth photos which came out yesterday.

 It appears the Uni's on Air' web game ceased their monthly promo pics in April though the game is still going on and has been for five years. But they will continue to have pics for birthdays so here's some terrific new ones for birthday #22.

 Surprised there's been no new Hina group cards as there were plenty of those for Nogi. However do have some even better pics which are promo ones for the group's 'Mysterious Library' game, many more than usual and my faves of Miku are the last two sets.

 Miku has been a model for the Bis magazine for a while though the modeling pics for them have slowed down this year. Do have some but not all that many so will hold on to them for Miku's next post. This small batch here are for the group's monthly message pics that are at he Hina site and come out on the first day of a month.

 Will end off the post here and doing so as I want to make sure Miku has a post in October. What a slowdown for her magazine spreads and to my fury it's because of management pushing the 4G members down our throats so in a way am not too sad or disappointed that Hina's popularity has dipped a bit because of that. This is an encore viewing of a spread that was in her last post and is from the April 25th issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday. Hina has their own YT channel for members to upload personal videos, have one after the pics. Miku does love photography and did have a recent exhibit of her work, in the video which came out in August she went shopping for a new camera. It is a bit long and not too exciting but was rather interesting and I wish someone would sub these videos instead of the ones for the 4G shows.😈
