Haruka Kaki: Hopefully the first of.... TWO comeback posts!!!!

 

 Was just thinking using the word 'Comeback' in the title may not be correct. For Haruka isn't someone who has had posts on a consistent basis as as this is just her twelfth one, her first was in December 2022 and that was 29 months ago. At first there were a lot of posts but over the last year and a half it's become one every four months and that bums me out to no end. For I like Haruka immensely and she may be my top current Idol or perhaps tied with someone from Morning Musume. Both share the same problem in not having enough posts though the MM gal will have one next month, know you viewers wish the pair had more posts as both Idols are very popular here.

 Know it doesn't help or solve anything by playing WHAT IF? but will for a few sentences with Haruka. For if she was a bit older, say four years and had joined Nogi as a second generation member Haruka would be my #1 Nogi member of all time! Plus every year she would have been battling it out to be my number one on the fave's list and also could have been in contention of taking the top spot on the 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list. By being older it would have meant seeing Haruka so many more times on Nogi's "Under Construction" and 'Bingo!" shows, the second was such an excellent show but ceased many years ago and the first is unwatchable these days.

 Plus we may have seen Haruka in a few Nogi group dramas and sure she would have had more than one photobook. You also have to figure there would have been many more magazine spreads, modeling and event pics so just by being four years older would have changed so much about this blog and in August she will be hitting the age of 24. So it is a shame that Haruka came aboard when my interest in Nogi began to ebb but I still think the world of her and what I don't understand is why she hasn't been getting more of a push by management? These days Nogi doesn't have those 'Superstars' like they once did which isn't that bad of a thing. But to me Haruka is probably the most popular member of the fourth and fifth generations so why doesn't she appear in more magazines and also at fashion shows? To that I can't give a good reason to though perhaps a lot of times an Idol isn't all that busy because they prefer not being in the limelight and that easily could be the case for Haruka.

 June 2022 is when Haruka's first and only photobook was released, isn't it time for her second? It sure is as that first book sold close to 200,000 copies so you know that a second would also be a popular book and how about a book this August for her 24th birthday? The above two pics are from the book and aren't those simply breathtaking(?), they are to me and below are a few more pics from the book. I always forget about the list which is one for my top Nogi photobooks, haven't posted every book nor will I but bet the total here at the blog is over fifty of them. Know a few massive selling books would be among most fan's favorites but to me very few top Haruka's book, not exactly sure but think it would end up around the fifth position on the list.

 Oddly Haruka said until the photo shoot for the book she had never worn a bikini.... she looked so alluring in them think a few should be named after her! Though Comeback may not be the most appropriate word Two is as I vow to do another post next month. Am holding back one brand new magazine spread but do have a new one for today, there are a few other goodies I'm holding on to for that next post so while this will be a large one it could have been massive. First up for new pics are these from Nogi's blog and she never posts enough solo photos.

 The bottom pic above is from the studio of the 'Girls Locks!' radio show. Haruka hosts the show one week a month for four days, it's broadcast on Tokyo-FM. Below are some pics from her last few shows and on April 8th Haruka celebrated her fourth anniversary as a host. That station has had many radio shows over the last twenty or more years featuring popular actresses and J-Pop Idols, being a host for four years may be close to a record for longevity.

 Before today Haruka's last post had been done in November or five months ago, believe when I say that wasn't by choice and wish she could have a few each month! Since then naturally Nogi cards have been released and have many of them for this post and hopefully more will be coming out for that May post. As you can see below the first five are for Valentine's Day and in all honesty there aren't many gals who could top Haruka 😍 as far as baking sweets me for that day or really any other day! There's also plenty of pics for Nogi's 37th single that came out in December and the bottom ones are for Christmas.

 On May 3rd the massive 'Girls Award' Spring fashion show will be held and did see that a few Nogi members will be there and also a pair of graduates. But didn't see Haruka listed but still holding out hope she'll make an appearance and how I wish she would appear at more events. Actually just wish Haruka would do so much more but as I've moaned about it will probably never happen. Hmmmm, was just thinking that things could get even tougher for the current members as soon aren't the sixth generation going to be eased into the group? Have one brand new magazine spread that's from the May 5 issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday and it deserved to be much larger....

 Will end off with a bigger magazine spread which was in her last post and is from the September 25th issue of Weekly Shonen. Haruka may not appear in too many magazines but when she does is almost always the cover girl. Unlike Hina and Keya Nogi doesn't have a YT channel for the members to upload their own videos and wonder why(?) as one beef with me for over a decade is that the members don't have enough solo videos. Well, now that I think about it there is the Nogizaka Streaming Channel and had forgotten about it due to not having many posts these days for members. After the pics is one which I'm unsure on whether it had been posted already but is one of Haruka's most popular ones with over 1.4 million views. In the video she plays 'The Exit 8' game which is a long video but it is entertaining.
