Miku Kanemura: Is here to save the day!!!!

 

 Save the day meaning if not for this Miku post don't know if I could have created another. When I took that mini hiatus of nine days some of that was to clear my head and regain some of my enthusiasm which worked to an extent. But another reason was because we had been in a slowish period for my favorites and was hoping taking a break would mean some things for posts would pile up. Which didn't happen and things do go in streaks here, much more the last 2-3 years. Such as digital books and it's just a coincidence how the books for my fave women seem to come out all at once, there's been so few lately so hope that's a sign those books will be picking up in June.

 Forget who the post was for but a couple of weeks ago was saying how some other gal was my current top J-Pop Idol but don't know what I was thinking! Because for the past two years my #1 Idol has been Miku 😍, even though my interest in Hina46 and J-Pop in general has waned I still follow my favorite members as closely as ever. So even though this has been a semi quiet year to date for Miku she is up to four posts so that would mean eight for the year and I could live with that amount. To say Miku is a fave of mine would be an understatement as she's been in the second and fourth positions on the last two yearly faves list. 

 This September Miku will be hitting the age of 23 and when I do my next 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list in late Summer 2026 she'll easily make the list. Brought up her age for if Miku was 2-3 years older she would be battling for my all time #1 woman as it would have meant a few more years of doing posts for her but then again there are almost five women who could be my number one so what a duel that will be when the list is created. The views for Miku's posts have dropped off the last few years, it has for others also and to me the main reason is the lack of new gravure photos. Which doesn't bother me at all and I think her current pics are so super duper, if you are a fan this will be a post you will enjoy as there's over sixty new pics and at least thirty older ones.

 It's been over a year since the last group post for any of the three '46' groups, also for Morning Musume and SKE as those are really the only groups I follow these days.... er, perhaps you could also include BababaBambi. It's not like the old days when I had too much for those posts and doubt if there will ever be many more in the future. But would like to do at least one more for Hina as they just did release their 14th single a week ago, title of the main song is "Love Yourself'. It's a decent song and better than their previous few singles, below are some covers and promo pics for it. Miku was in the front row and to date has only been the center once which was for the "Tteka" single and that to me that could be their best A-side tune to date. First week sales were 421,000 copies sold and they are so consistent as far as sales go for twelve of the fourteen singles have sold between 421,000 and 486,000 in week one.

 

 More new pics which are from Miku's IG page and could have had a few more. The above single is the first with no first generation members and below you can see her with Kumi at her graduation concert. To date she's never had a solo post but will try do at least two soon for I will be having her first and last photobook this Summer. Kumi may hold a record for J-Pop Idols here as she may have more photos in group posts than any other woman without having any solo posts, the total pics have to easily be over 500!!!! Konoka is in the bottom pic and she is so overdue for a post but these days too much attention has been on the 4G members though should be able to do one for her towards the end of next month.

 Hina just began their 2025 tour and do have the second show of three that have been performed to date. Of all the three '46' groups they do put on the best shows but will admit when I viewed some of it was missing some first generation members. But the gals from Hina's second generation are so strong and I like all of them, it's similar to Nogi as my favorite generation was their second. Speaking of tours below have some Miku cards for the group's 2024/23 tours and hadn't posted then before. I do try to hold back a few things for certain massive faves such as Miku, she averages a post every six weeks and would like to see that continue. Though this is a large post am holding back some new modeling pics from the Bis site and also a few other new groups cards and IG photos.

 For the past five years Miku has been at every one of those large fashion shows and 2025 has been no different. On May 2nd she was at the Spring/Summer 'Girls Award' show that was held at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo. Miku took her stroll on the Samantha Vega stage but sadly there weren't more pics and she always looks so classy at these shows.... actually she's always looked the best of any Hina member at these shows and that could be a biased opinion....

 For a while have been saying how the magazine spreads for J-Pop Idols has really slowed down the past two or more years, that goes for all groups. Don't know why that is and perhaps because there aren't the mega superstar Idols there once were, Nogi and AKB had so many between them. Do have a new spread for today as Miku graces the cover for the June 11th issue of Weekly Shonen. I bet she's been their cover girl at least fifteen times since 2021 and every spread for them gets a grade of A++++ from me even though there's never any gravure photos. Miku doesn't need to have those to grab my attention and the bottom five pics are from the photo shoot.

 That being the only recent mag spread let's go back in time for such an ultra terrific batch of pics, it's nice to have older spreads as most have been sadly forgotten about. Don't know the total but bet Miku has had more mag spreads than any other Hina member, she's also appeared on the most covers and this fabulous set is from the August 2023 edition of Bomb. Don't know if anyone will agree but this could be her best spread to date and as mentioned often Miku is that type of woman who doesn't need to dress scantly to look so sensual and alluring....

 Though will admit I do enjoy looking at her gravure pics and it's hard to top the hotness of Miku's first and only photobook. So will end the post off with some bonus pictures that were included in the second edition of the book that came out about six months after the original version. Did post these before but it was well over a year ago so most may have forgotten these or perhaps had never seen them. So though there weren't any new modeling pics for the Bis magazine in this post Miku does have a brand new video for them that was released yesterday and is after these sweltering pics.... the video does have an oddity as a woman speaking in English translates some quotes of her from the photo shoot, that isn't uncommon but had never seen that in any of her or other Hina videos.
