Mizuki Fukumura: May have the most unsurpassable and flawless post for 2025....

 

 .... and could have made this much larger but am hoping the unthinkable happens and there can be another post for her in the near future! Well, even if that doesn't happen the unthinkable has as I never thought we would have any more posts for Mizuki so because of that this could be my top post to date for 2025! Yesterday was thinking how many posts there are these days for ex-Idols and I'm not complaining at all as older woman(25+) are ones I much prefer these days. It seems that graduates are so much more busier or at least noticeable compared to current Idols and as I mentioned in a post two days ago wonder if that 'aura' with Idols is fading away as even the biggest current stars these days aren't nearly as popular as Idols from a decade ago. Hmmmm, didn't plan on opening up with those thoughts but sometimes an opinion forms in my tiny brain and before I forget about it may as well put it into words. The last two days have talked about some of my all time favorite photos, that first one in the post is right up there as it may be in the top ten on my all time fave photo list and that would be an impossible one to create.

 This is post #37 for Mizuki and at least thirty have been solo ones but this is her first since November 2023 though did have a mag spread in another post the following month. Back then Mizuki graduated from Morning Musume and she had been with them for 12 1/2 years which I think is a record, she was also the overall leader for all of the Hello Project groups. Long time readers may remember that I am such a huge fan of Hello Project groups as their music is so much better than Nogi, Keya, NMB, etc. even though those groups have many more posts. Which is because they've always been easier to do and while I like the groups and members that were mentioned have always been more of a fan of Hello Project. So when Mizuki graduated back in November 2023 didn't think we would ever hear from her again or at least from doing things such as gravure modeling and/or singing. She did join the main H!P agency to help out with new members and to train them which seemed to be a stepping stone into something bigger and better. But in some really good news her first solo single was just released plus there's a terrific new mag spread and there's two others from the end of 2023 that hadn't been posted so there will be at least seventy new photos for today and some encores of some fabulous oldies.

 Hmmmm again, unless you were a reader of the posts I did from 2016-20 you may have no idea how massive of a fave Mizuki is of mine and had things worked out differently(better) she'd be in the battle to be my number one woman of all time!!!! Twice she's made the yearly faves list and is my top Morning Musume member of all time which is saying something as I like so many of their members. Would have her fourth on my list for fave Hello Project members and the only reason it's not #1 is because the other two were a bit busier but the gap between number's one and three isn't that large. Plus Mizuki had two photobooks on my all time list for them and if I had to list my all time hottest Idol she'd be somewhere between fourth and seventh, at times have talked about doing such a list but doubt if it'll ever be done. Mizuki is also well liked by you viewers as all of her posts have been popular so know there has to be a few reading this who have also missed her and if you become a new fan by the end of this post highly recommend checking out her older ones.

 What I really miss are those monthly Hello Project digital books which ceased in September 2021 after seventeen years! They mainly contained outtake pics from photo shoots and the pics were truly tremendous, there would usually be a hundred in those monthly books and have no clue why they stopped that popular series. Let's get to some brand new things and Mizuki does post so many photos at her IG page, these are from since the beginning of April and could have had many more.

 Have one smallish batch of her final Morning Musume cards from 2023, up until 2020 there were so many cards for Hello Project groups but they're really slowed down. There used to be an unwritten rule that H!P members had to graduate when they hit the age of 25 but after 2020 things have changed and many members from the groups are now over the age of 25 though wish there were more. When Mizuki graduated in November 2023 it was a few weeks after her 27th birthday which means later on this year she will be hitting the age of 29 which isn't old but most of my all time favorites are that age or older.

 On April 23rd Mizuki released her first ever solo single "Long Love Letter" and that surprised me but in a very good way. Think there was some sort of event for it which will be in her next post and why that will be is explained after the below video. Don't know what the sales are for it yet as Oricon is late with releasing their weekly sales chart and I think we need a return of solo artists becoming popular again. Below are the covers for the single and some promo pics, instead of the video for the main track will have the B-side song "Anniversary wa Iranai" which I think is better as it's much more upbeat and will her first solo concert also be coming up soon?

 

 Have a slight change with my plans, what I will do is to have four magazine spreads and will hold one back. It's often unavoidable when I do a post for someone who hasn't had one for a while which is that the post turns out to be a one and done deal. I don't want top see that happen with Mizuki so will hold back one of those December 2023 mag spreads and have it in a June post which will include more things from earlier this year along with any other missed activities since she graduated. Doing follow up posts isn't always easy but know I can do one more next month and if the Gods are smiling down on me perhaps more can be done after that! Let's get to the four magazine spreads, two are new for here while the other pair have been posted already. But older photos tend to get forgotten about so it's nice to have encore viewings of them such as this ultra terrific spread from the December 11, 2023 issue of Young Magazine which was her final spread until recently. There were never enough photos of Mizuki with Maria who is my second fave MM member and perhaps by current top J-Pop Idol. Am working on a post for her which will happen soon but those posts for her have slowed down so much and that does bum me out....

 Spread #2 for this post is one that hadn't been seen here before and is from the December 2023 issue of Bomb, it was released two weeks before the above spread. With Mizuki is her long time Morning Musume mate Erina Ikuta who I have done a pair of posts for. She will be graduating on July 8th which is the final date of the group's upcoming tour. So Mizuki's record of 12 1/2 years with Morning Musume will be an old record as Erina will have been with the group 14 years and five months, that July 8th date is one day after her 28th birthday.

 When Mizuki was graduating from Morning Musume at the end of 2023 she appeared in four magazines, three times she was on the cover. But none were solo covers as they also featured MM members and why did that happen as she deserved a better send off. So until a few days ago this was Mizuki's final solo cover which was from the March 19, 2023 issue of Young Gangan. This was her largest spread ever and is also among my all time favorites, bet no Idol has been the cover girl for this magazine over her.

 Mizuki has made her return with another super duper spread with Young Gangan plus she's the cover girl for their May 16th issue.... doesn't she look just so, so magnificent!!!!

 What's a sham is that there's no video for the above spread but it did just come out so hopefully one will available by the time her next post is done. Will end off with some beyond sweltering pics of Mizuki and had she been a bit busier after 2021 she'd be battling it out with a few others to be my all time number one woman or when you view these pics perhaps also hottest Idol ever!!!! After the pics is a promo video for her 2022 photobook "Glance", Mizuki has a fair amount of gravure videos on YT and I highly recommend all of them.
