Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Akari Suda: Sigh, yet another.... '𝘐 𝘀𝘒𝘯'𝘡 𝘡𝘩π˜ͺ𝘯𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘒 𝘀𝘒𝘡𝘀𝘩𝘺 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘡 𝘡π˜ͺ𝘡𝘭𝘦'....

Been a while since I used that as a title and am a bit brain dead today. Did something different in September which was making it a 'Movie Month', viewed 32 of them and had four posts where I discussed 21 of them and an old TV series. Of course those weren't nearly as popular as photobooks for J-Pop Idols but they've received almost a thousand views in less than a month. So I would call that a success and it's nice doing something different such as them but why stop there? Seeing as how October is a ghoulish month and my favorite films are horror ones will have another mini series for this month. Am going to try to view a horror movie a night until the end of the month and isn't it appropriate(eerie?) that Akari's πŸ˜ birthday falls on the last day of the month?! So was thinking of doing three posts which will feature at least five films, I give a very brief rundown of the film along with some trivial facts, pics and a trailer. Was thinking of doing a post every ten days so the three will happen on the 10th, 20th, and 30th during October. I'm looking forward to the post on the 20th as I was going to make that a special one by having it feature many international fright films, of course will have some from Japan and Korea but will also have at least one from Italy, America and Canada.... perhaps even Thailand.

At the end of 2015 there was a mini AKB series called "Fright Night" which of course had to deal with horror, there were 42 shows. Each featured one member from a '48' group, Akari was in the second episode and did do a recap of it. The pics above are from it and can't remember it so well as I viewed it over nine years ago! Did watch about a dozen of them and all were decent but could have been so much better. An episode only lasted for 10-12 minutes, twenty would have been perfect for ten minutes is not nearly enough to tell a story. But all in all the series was good and it was nice to see some of my lesser known faves from SKE, NMB and HKT get ten or so minutes in the spotlight.

Gulp, no comment about that first pic right above.... nor of the other dozens of sweltering ones in this post! Which is Akari's 24th of the year, two more and she ties the record of having 26 which she will accomplish but can she make it to 27? That has to be done by November 29th, the 'Nao Year' ends on the 30th but always take the final day of the month off. If I was a betting man would say Yes to a new record being set and who would have thought just a few years ago that would be happening. Akari had an okay amount of posts from 2015-18 but very few from the Summer of 2019 until the Spring of 2022, not just her but it became impossible to do posts for any member of SKE, don't know why that happened but the group's activities never went back to their pre-2020 level. But beginning in late Spring 2022 when Akari announced her graduation her activities really increased, of her ninety posts 65 have been done in the last forty months! So while some of you viewers may be getting weary of seeing so many posts for Akari I went almost three years with hardly any so this has been my reward for not being a fair weather fan!

Akari will be the next huge favorite of mine to reach a hundred posts as only ten more are needed and I never thought she would do so. Her rival for being my #1 woman of all time hit that milestone in June, there will be two others in 2027 to hit triple digits but after them that may be it. Seems like there was a '75 Curse' for when someone hit that number of posts their activities really slowed down and look at how many have 75-95 posts, many do and except for the three mentioned none of the others will hit a hundred posts. I expect Akari to hit that next March but think this pace will be slowing down soon. Most posts, including this one, have a mix of new photos and older ones that had never been posted before so in a way you could call them new. But my cache of them has been dwindling rapidly because of doing so many posts so think soon these will be slowing down but it's okay having a post every 3-4 weeks instead of every other week for that stretch in time from 2019-2022 only had a post every four months!

It's a foregone conclusion that Akari will be number one of this year's faves list, she also had that honor in 2023 plus has finished second twice! So when it comes to favorites there truly may be no other that can ever top her 😍 and shortly after November 1st will do a post talking about this year's list, the amount of eligible woman may be at an all time low! Let's get to the meat of the post and as always have some older SKE cards, as usual have many for the month we're in. Am running out of ones that hadn't been posted but most of these for October are new for here. This month has the lowest total of regular cards as there's many for Halloween and will have those coming up soon. When you look closer at cards and not just these aren't they so terrific in their own way and the amount released these days from J-Pop groups has really dwindled since their heyday of the 2010's.

Back in 2021 Akari had the lead role in a cultish film titled "Uchihime Obakamiko" which was about Mahjong and how she loves that game. I have looked high and low for it but have never found the film, it was her first movie. Akari's second came out on September 19th and think she also had the lead female role in it, that movie is titled "Otokogami". Have watched the trailer at least ten times and it appears to be an intense thriller, will I ever get a chance to see this movie? Akari has done many interviews for the film which is also referred to as a 'cult movie' and those are often the best. This should be the final interview for the movie which was with the Change site, have the link to the interview and the below pics are from it: Change site

In Akari's last post didn't have any photos of the two premieres but do for today, not a huge amount for it isn't a huge budget production. The "Otokogami" movie came out on September 19th, one premiere was held at the TOHO Cinemas in Nihonbashi, Tokyo and the photos below are from it. Not many so added in a few promo pics for the movie.

The movie was based on a 2020 novel and about 80% of the filming was done around the prefecture of Aichi which is where Akari is from. The day after the film's release premiere #2 took place at the Midland Square Cinema in Nagoya, wish there were many more photos for doesn't Akari look better than amazing?! She sure did and after this smallish batch is a video from the event which is a bit too long but worth skimming through.

No new magazine spreads so will go well into the past for this set which I don't think has been posted here, if so it had to have been around 2015/16. This historic spread is from issue #19 of Young Champion that came out at the end of September 2012 so is over thirteen years old! It's a semi-early Halloween set and how about the way Akari looks in the fourth and fifth pages, she'll always be a good witch to me! I used to be such a huge SKE fan but will admit I'm starting to forget the names of some members who for the most part disappeared after leaving the group.

Usually end off with a huge amount of photos from Akari's IG page but will have one other thing after this batch. Which have all come out in the last ten days or since her last post, some are from the 2025 Jam Expo which is for up and coming J-Pop Idol groups, it was held in Yokohama and Akari has been an emcee for this show the past three years. All the pics are superb and still wish she would release a photobook of her top IG pics.... or is she waiting for me to do that?

Two pics above were from a September 21st event held in Nagoya, Akari is an ambassador for their Safety Program and was introducing a new campaign. She does so much work for her hometown, after the pics is a short video from the event and while it's not long enough it was entertaining and she needs more videos on YT. Will end off with some ultra scorching photos of Akari, she'll be hitting the age of 34 at the end of the month but her sultriness seems to increase with each passing day....
