As said a few times in the past when I badly want to do a post for a massive fave nothing can or will stop me!!!! That's the case for this post and the last few weeks Han-Na 😍 has been on my mind more than anyone else, the reason was because of how much I've missed doing posts for her! And Korean actresses in general and from about 2017-20 bet I averaged a post a week for my favorite Korean actresses, most posts weren't too popular but I enjoyed doing them. Seems when the virus hit in the Spring of 2020 it affected the activities of Korean actresses much more than their Japanese counterparts. After things got back to normal the activities for Korean women never fully got back to their pre-2020 levels so doing posts such as this has been a rarity. They were never easy to do in the first place as unlike Japanese actresses the ones from Korea rarely have photobooks and never do gravure modeling, their magazine spreads are fewer and much smaller as far as pages go. However Korean actresses appear at more events where they look so darn terrific at them and if you ask me no woman ever tops the way Han-Na looks at events, she is beautiful to the Nth degree plus is so classy yet comes off as a regular woman which is part of her charm.
Sultry and overly magnetic are also a few more adjectives we could throw Han-Na's 😍 way but more more need to created for this unbeatable woman! Which to me is so true, often talk about who my number one woman of all time is but just discuss Japanese women and it makes sense as most posts are for them. But in a huge HOWEVER if things had worked out differently Han-Na would be my #1 woman of all time, in a way she does have that honor! In my eyes no woman in history is more attractive than her and there's really no one else all that close! Back in January she hit the age of 36 and seems her seductiveness increases with each year, have some ultra perfect new pics to back that up! That above pic is from when Han-Na was 33 in age and how can anyone top her?! They don't and of course she does look a bit older than a decade ago but so doesn't everyone. The title says Her historical first 'Blast from the Past' post.... round two and will explain that. Last year was also missing Han-Na quite a bit so did three posts similar to this one, a mix of new and old photos/news. But then she hit a slow period for activities so doing posts wasn't possible but they are now and there will be at least one more after this, perhaps even two more if I go back before July with 2025 happenings. So the round two means I'm reviving her from the world of being forgotten and while most Korean actresses aren't too popular here Han-Na has been and was the last Korean woman to hit six posts in a year which is how many are needed to qualify for the fave's list.
Hmmm, those first two pics above may prove Han-Na wrong with her self-assessment.... shouldn't she be saying 'I've become a Goddess?!'!!!! 😍 Hah, when I do these rare posts for her my mind and imagination become a bit wacky but describing her as a Goddess could be right on the money! I've seen Han-Na in four dramas, currently a fifth and also a pair of films. Korean dramas are often twice the length as ones from Japan so you could say those five dramas could count as ten! Those first two pics right above are from the 2015 movie "Empire of Lust", Han-Na had the lead female role in that and she was kind of memorable. In a shocker for the first and only time she did doff her clothes in the film and proved why she is the most ideal woman of all time! The director's cut is the version that you need to view and she had two more nude scenes in that version.... have lost count how many times I've viewed those boiling scenes! But besides that it was a decent film set back during the Joseon dynasty, her recent drama was also set during that era. As a matter of fact Han-Na does appear in many of those period dramas or movies, at least five to date. For much more bio info or things about Han-Na's other dramas check out her older posts.
Which like the movie discussed earlier is set in era of the Joseon dynasty. But it didn't start there as the beginning of the series was set in the present day and the main character is an award winning chef named Ji-Yeong who somehow got caught in a time loop while a solar eclipse took place. Ji-Yeong ended up traveling back hundreds of years to when Korea was ruled by a King named Yi-Heon. The king was a vicious tyrant though did enjoy fine cuisine immensely but if his chefs couldn't prepare feasts to satisfy the ruler then.... off with their heads!!!! So that's where the chef from the future Ji-Yeong comes in and it does turn into a semi-romance between the two but is also very serious, I didn't check on how things ended up. There's three main characters with the other being Han-Na as Kang Mok-Ju who was the top concubine of the King. From what I could gather Mok-Ju and her family were on the verge of getting killed by the King's army but Yi-Heon's father took pity on them. That took place over five years ago and in that time Mok-Ju's place in society has grown to a high level because of her relationship with the King but it appears to be Mok-Ju may have some devilish plans.... such as taking down the King! In a nutshell that's what took place in the first show but of course so much more took place and it does seem it's going to be an interesting show. The ratings zoomed up from 5.1% for the first episode to 17.4% for the finale, that is one gigantic jump!. Below are some screenshots, the first half mainly show the chef Ji-Yeong with the others are of Han-Na as Mok-Ju.
