Kang Han-Na: Her historical first 'Blast from the Past' post.... round two!

As said a few times in the past when I badly want to do a post for a massive fave nothing can or will stop me!!!! That's the case for this post and the last few weeks Han-Na 😍 has been on my mind more than anyone else, the reason was because of how much I've missed doing posts for her! And Korean actresses in general and from about 2017-20 bet I averaged a post a week for my favorite Korean actresses, most posts weren't too popular but I enjoyed doing them. Seems when the virus hit in the Spring of 2020 it affected the activities of Korean actresses much more than their Japanese counterparts. After things got back to normal the activities for Korean women never fully got back to their pre-2020 levels so doing posts such as this has been a rarity. They were never easy to do in the first place as unlike Japanese actresses the ones from Korea rarely have photobooks and never do gravure modeling, their magazine spreads are fewer and much smaller as far as pages go. However Korean actresses appear at more events where they look so darn terrific at them and if you ask me no woman ever tops the way Han-Na looks at events, she is beautiful to the Nth degree plus is so classy yet comes off as a regular woman which is part of her charm.

Sultry and overly magnetic are also a few more adjectives we could throw Han-Na's 😍 way but more more need to created for this unbeatable woman! Which to me is so true, often talk about who my number one woman of all time is but just discuss Japanese women and it makes sense as most posts are for them. But in a huge HOWEVER if things had worked out differently Han-Na would be my #1 woman of all time, in a way she does have that honor! In my eyes no woman in history is more attractive than her and there's really no one else all that close! Back in January she hit the age of 36 and seems her seductiveness increases with each year, have some ultra perfect new pics to back that up! That above pic is from when Han-Na was 33 in age and how can anyone top her?! They don't and of course she does look a bit older than a decade ago but so doesn't everyone. The title says Her historical first 'Blast from the Past' post.... round two and will explain that. Last year was also missing Han-Na quite a bit so did three posts similar to this one, a mix of new and old photos/news. But then she hit a slow period for activities so doing posts wasn't possible but they are now and there will be at least one more after this, perhaps even two more if I go back before July with 2025 happenings. So the round two means I'm reviving her from the world of being forgotten and while most Korean actresses aren't too popular here Han-Na has been and was the last Korean woman to hit six posts in a year which is how many are needed to qualify for the fave's list.

Hmmm, those first two pics above may prove Han-Na wrong with her self-assessment.... shouldn't she be saying 'I've become a Goddess?!'!!!! 😍 Hah, when I do these rare posts for her my mind and imagination become a bit wacky but describing her as a Goddess could be right on the money! I've seen Han-Na in four dramas, currently a fifth and also a pair of films. Korean dramas are often twice the length as ones from Japan so you could say those five dramas could count as ten! Those first two pics right above are from the 2015 movie "Empire of Lust", Han-Na had the lead female role in that and she was kind of memorable. In a shocker for the first and only time she did doff her clothes in the film and proved why she is the most ideal woman of all time! The director's cut is the version that you need to view and she had two more nude scenes in that version.... have lost count how many times I've viewed those boiling scenes! But besides that it was a decent film set back during the Joseon dynasty, her recent drama was also set during that era. As a matter of fact Han-Na does appear in many of those period dramas or movies, at least five to date. For much more bio info or things about Han-Na's other dramas check out her older posts.

Han-Na has a masters degree in Theater from Chung-Ang University, she also hosted a very popular radio show called 'Volume Up' for almost two years in 2020/21 but had to leave when it interfered with her filming dramas. This is the first of two, perhaps three and with any luck four posts as there may be enough activities I've missed from this year for that many. Add in a few older things which are new for here or have been forgotten about so think a quartet of posts is possible. As mentioned in the beginning Korean actresses are busy but don't do the same kinds of activities which make for interesting posts such as their Japanese peers do. Such as appearing regularly in magazines and when they do the spreads are usually not that big. Below have a pair of spreads from the Allure magazine but they total up to be only nine pages. The first six are from their August 2022 issue and the other four from their January 2019 edition, both are small but least the pics could be considered to be out of this world and not sure if there's been any recent magazine appearances for Han-Na but will check for her next post.

The posts for Han-Na haven't been too consistent over the years so sure many of you readers have never seen pics such as the above or checked out any of her posts. So though older in a way you could say photos like the above are new for here and hope this post inspires you to check out her older ones. This batch is of new pics and from her IG page but have noticed over the years when Han-Na is in a drama she doesn't post all that many while a show is being filmed. There are a few pics from the set of her recently completed series but could have had so many more and may in future posts. One pic is from an event which will end the post, two others are from another event that will be in a future post. But the photo to check out is that first one which is in the running to be my favorite pic of the year! Hard to believe Han-Na 😍 is 36 in age and that photo is so demurely seductive, a woman doesn't have to dress skimpy to make our hearts beat out of control!

Han-Na will be in an upcoming drama titled "Cashero" but no start date has been announced. The filming for it is complete but the male lead is currently in another series that's airing so think this next drama won't begin until the current one ends. The one that did recently end for Han-Na was titled "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty" which ran from August 23rd to September 28th for a total of twelve episodes. However the average length was 79 minutes a show or the equivalent of sixteen one hour episodes! Because of that won't be recapping the drama as between viewing an episode and then writing about it would take almost three hours! Sure many of you know how I tend to make my posts for dramas and films somewhat epic plus long, it would take me 2-3 posts just to describe what happened in each episode. So will skip doing regular posts for the series but am watching it, did just see the first two shows and in Han-Na's posts will have a mini section such as this for the drama.

Which like the movie discussed earlier is set in era of the Joseon dynasty. But it didn't start there as the beginning of the series was set in the present day and the main character is an award winning chef named Ji-Yeong who somehow got caught in a time loop while a solar eclipse took place. Ji-Yeong ended up traveling back hundreds of years to when Korea was ruled by a King named Yi-Heon. The king was a vicious tyrant though did enjoy fine cuisine immensely but if his chefs couldn't prepare feasts to satisfy the ruler then.... off with their heads!!!! So that's where the chef from the future Ji-Yeong comes in and it does turn into a semi-romance between the two but is also very serious, I didn't check on how things ended up. There's three main characters with the other being Han-Na as Kang Mok-Ju who was the top concubine of the King. From what I could gather Mok-Ju and her family were on the verge of getting killed by the King's army but Yi-Heon's father took pity on them. That took place over five years ago and in that time Mok-Ju's place in society has grown to a high level because of her relationship with the King but it appears to be Mok-Ju may have some devilish plans.... such as taking down the King! In a nutshell that's what took place in the first show but of course so much more took place and it does seem it's going to be an interesting show. The ratings zoomed up from 5.1% for the first episode to 17.4% for the finale, that is one gigantic jump!. Below are some screenshots, the first half mainly show the chef Ji-Yeong with the others are of Han-Na as Mok-Ju.

We've hit the end, could have made this larger but would rather have four medium sized posts for Han-Na than two huge ones. She does a little bit of many things such as being being the co-host of a dating game show that aired for eight episodes back in July. "Better Late Than Single" was it's title where singles who had been that way for too long came on the show for advice, guidance and whatever, to be honest I've never viewed one of these kinds of shows and never will. But as an actress someone such as Han-Na isn't always filming a drama or movie so have to do some other kinds of work. She herself is still single at the age of 36 and sure that's by choice, I've noticed so many other Korean actresses are in their thirties or even older and have never got hitched. It's not the end of the world if it doesn't happen and that's actually quite common for all types of people in most countries. No woman tops the way Han-Na looks at events or to be more precise how she looks 100% of the time!!!! This variety/dating show began on July 8th, five days before there was an event to promote it and introduce the hosts. My heartbeat when viewing the perfect Han-Na 😍 at events is always out of control and this one was no exception, wow to the Nth degree! There's no solo video from the event but do have one that featured all of the hosts and that's after the pics.... new words need to be created in describing Han-Na..... whew....
