Nanase Nishino: Her historical first photobook "Fudangi".... a repost....

Still keeping the streak alive as far as having a post a day for November goes but didn't think there could be any for today. But searched high and low in my massive folder of photos and while browsing through noticed that earlier this year had done a few reposts of older Nogi books, one had been for Nanase and think there will be one more after this for a different member. A decade ago often cut a photobook in half for two posts when one would have been enough, that was the case for this book. But also the cropping job I did the first time around wasn't all that good so did over most of the pics, put them in better order so all in all these pictures are a bit better than the first version of the book.

Not much I can add in about Nanase who has more posts than any woman here but wonder how many more she'll have in the future? Doubt if there will be (m)any, there was just one last year and she's really slowed down on her activities. Nanase left Nogi during their seventh birthday concerts in February 2019 but for the next 2 1/2 years was able to have quite a few posts for her, as a matter of fact she even finished in the fifth position on the 2021 fave's list and in 2018 she was number one!!!! Then in mid-2022 those activities began to decrease, she's been in three films this year but no dramas since June 2024. Nanase did get married in March 2024 and six months ago hit the age of 31 plus she's probably made a good amount of $$ as she was so immensely popular so she could be kicking back and enjoying life for a while and also perhaps is thinking of starting a family.

Haven't seen Nanase appear in any recent magazines, do any modeling work or be at any events so it's close to impossible to have any posts these days for her current happenings. What surprised me is that there were no magazine spreads to promote the book and that didn't make much sense, that wouldn't happen these days! But do have an older Nanase mag spread from around the time the book was released and she was the cover girl for the March 19, 2015 issue of Young Jump which means this set is almost eleven years old and at the time she was two months shy of celebrating birthday #21.

On to the "Fudangi" book which means Everyday Wear and it was released on February 18, 2015. This was the first ever Nogi photobook which is why I used Historical in the title, back then their books were a tad conservative and that's changed over the years as these days the photos leave so little to the imagination! There aren't too many gravure pics in this book which isn't a bad thing as Nanase looks terrific dressed as an everyday woman and that could be where the book's title came from. The photo shoot took place in Nanase's hometown of Osaka and if I had one minor beef it's of there being too many photos in black and white, 25 are that way which is almost a third of the book. Which contained 77 pics, there's 73 below and the first four photos of the post are from the book. Sales for this book were solid, 45,000 copies sold in it's first two weeks and a total of 110,000 were sold.
