Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Mirei Kiritani: Happy 26th birthday!!!! part one- recent happenings

Mirei posted that pic on her Instagram account yesterday, not sure who the other woman is but she does look quite familiar. Mirei has kind of flown under the radar compared to other in her age range, never really here mentioned along with Erika, Gakky, Saki and a few others, all were born between 1988 and 1990 but she never seems to be grouped with them.
Have two posts today, lately have only been doing one for a birthday fave but am trying to get her to that magic 100th post, after these two she'll be at 94 and shouldn't be too long before triple digits are hit. First off are a few more recent pics she's posted on her Instagram account.

Just one new mag spread for Mirei, the last few years she's cut down on her appearances in them quite a bit but that could be because she's mainly concentrating on her acting career. It's a shame as this is a scintillating set of pics from the January issue of 25ans, was also just checking Non-no's YT site but unfortunately there's been no promo videos the last few months for her.

Mirei's last drama "Atelier" aka Underwear just wrapped up it's run last Tuesday, it ran for just four episodes. But actually it ran for 12 episodes that were a half hour long on Netflix Japan, the four episodes ran on Fuji-TV. What they did was combine three episodes together so they ran for 90 minutes which was it was just those four episodes.
Have watched the first three episodes or should I say have skimmed through them, holding out hope that the series will be subbed so haven't posted too many screenshots from them. What I'll do is wait a few more weeks and if it's not subbed will do two more posts for the series, it's not that complicated to follow though subs would really help me. Have a few fabulous screenshots from the second and third episodes here, won't give details about the drama until those upcoming posts but it revolves around the fashion industry and her character's name is Mayuko.
