Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Rena Matsui: "Bakumatsu Junjo Den" play press conference pics and video

Unfortunately no jaw-dropping pics like these....

.... but Rena could be dressed in a sweatsuit and still be sultrier than 99.99% of the gals in the world!

As a matter of fact in a sweatsuit is how Rena was dressed at a press conference today for her stage play opening on June 23rd titled "Bakumatsu Junjo Den". Not positive but think it's first play though I could be wrong, have done so many posts you kind of forget things after a while. Will check on that though as there should be another post right around when the play opens.
That June 23rd premiere will be at the Tennozu Theater in Tokyo then after that it'll be moving to two other cities. It's a remake of a 1989 play so you could also add the word 'New' into the title. The play is set in Kyoto during the Edo era and as you can see by the pics Rena will be playing a fierce fighter, next post for it will give many more details. Many pics here from the press conference as most of the main cast was also there, after the pics check out a video of the event.
Been a bit lazy about it but will still be posting some recaps of her "Mr Nietzsche in the Convenience Store" drama which ended it's run last month. Also it looks like SKE misses Rena, their latest single and the first without her, "Chicken Line", is the group's lowest seller in over five years.
