Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nao Kanzaki: 'Top Twenty Faves list for 2016' #2....? plus 2017 calendar

Will have #1 coming up this Thursday or Friday but on to the bridesmaid....

Hard to call Yuko a bridesmaid as who wouldn't want her for a bride!!!! She is my all time fave Idol but finished third last year so perhaps next year will be the charm. Do have to say she should have been #1 this year but for sentimental reasons decided to go with the gal who somehow topped her. Not the first time Yuko has been in the number two position as she finished second three times in the AKB Senbatsu elections, her other two times participating she was #1.
Yuko is the second shortest gal on the top twenty list at 152 cm but looking at her her height is the only thing small about her. Been over two years since a photobook and her last one "Nugi Yagare!" was one of the best of all time. Yuko is 28 now and hit the mark on October 17th so let's hope she's like a lot of actresses/Idols who are close to thirty and releases another book(s).

No dramas for 2016 but Yuko will be in one starting on January 18th titled "Tokyo Taraeba Musume". Will be checking that out, sadly her last show "Yamegoku" was never subbed. Sure that means we'll also be seeing her at a few events for the drama plus in a few mag spreads. That's been the only negative since leaving AKB is that Yuko doesn't appear in as many mags plus they're much more conservative pics. This first set of new pics is far from those kind though as Yuko looks terrific as usual from the December 9th issue of Friday.

One other new set of pics is from the January issue of Ginger.

Despite graduating from AKB Yuko still has a calendar every year which I'm sure most ex-members don't have. On December 5th she was at a promo event for her 2017 calendar at the Fukuya bookstore in Shinjuku and looking as good as ever.

Here's the calendar and it may be the only one you need for 2017....wowowowowowowowow!!!!

Ending off with some pics of prime perfection and most of the top half ones are new for here. If your heart can take the excitement check out a video after the pics which is the photo shoot for Yuko's 2010 photobook "Kimi wa, Dare no Mono?".
