Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Kyoko Fukada: Few recent happenings #1

This is the first Kyoko post since July, truly at a loss why it's been so long. She's been very busy since then and thought I had posted some her mag spreads and promo event pics but obviously that wasn't the case. Titled this #1 as there will be another one or two posts for her in the next week.
Kyoko is currently starring in the "Gekokujo Juken" drama, that's one that didn't look too appealing to me. However Kyoko's dramas over the years are usually enjoyable watches, she was one of my first huge faves and have to say she's one of the reasons I got hooked on dramas for so long. There's a drama, not with her, that I just finished so if there aren't many posts over the weekend it'll be because I'm writing the recaps for it. One film I never did a review for was "Kamikaze Girls", figured there are plenty of them out there already but it's hard to recommend a more enjoyable film.

She's starting to look her age just a bit, least in the face to me but she beats every other 34 year old that comes to mind though don't post too much about 34 year old women. Actually she beats 99% of the gals ten years younger than she is. Kyoko is still a 10/10 to me and think a lot of viewers agree with that as she is extremely popular here even though there haven't been enough posts for her. Out of the top ten most viewed posts here she has seven of them which were posts for her incredible photobooks and there's had to be close to ten of them.
Seeing as how there haven't been any spreads for her since last July will first catch up with her 2016 mag spreads. After them will be many pics from a promo event that took place this week. First Kyoko spread to start us off with is from WPB #34-35 that came out last August.

Kyoko had a photobook that came out last Autumn titled "This is Me", guess those scans are now on the need to be posted list. This spread from the September Maquia has some pics from the PB.

More stupendous pics promoting the PB from the September 6th issue of Flash.

Last mag spread for today, there are more from 2016 that were missed which will be in her next post and these are more WPB pics from issue #39.

On March 2nd Kyoko was at an event for Sapporo Beer's new product 'Ebisu Miyabi'. It's a new beer that used top yeast for the first time in it's history. Have to admit don't know much about the ingredients that make up beer, when I'm guzzling lager it's the last thing that crosses my mind. The event was also for a new CM that was supposed to come out on March 7th. However it's out now and you can view it after these terrific pics of Kyoko from today's event, also there's a short behind the scenes segment in the video.
