Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Super Girls: The 'Koume Watanabe post' #7....

Heard the ultra sad news about Super ✰ Girls last week. That news is there's going to be a mass of graduations in January, five members to be exact. Not sure why management wanted so many gals to leave at once but will have more details in the group's next post and will try to make it somewhat soon. Bit surprising one of the members that has to graduate is Nana who is by far their most popular gal, it's not an age thing as she won't be turning twenty until April.
My fave member by far though is Koume and she's staying on which means I'll still keep up with the group. As you can see by the top pic "Wagamama Girls Road" is Super ✰ Girls 20th single, it was released on November 14th finishing in the eighth spot on the charts in it's first week out. That's a nice rebound as after having close to ten straight singles hit the top ten the group's last four hadn't though they were all solid songs. They should have waited a week releasing it as the competition was tough last week, especially when any group has to go up against a new Nogi single. There's no full length PV so the video at the top is of them performing the song on TV November 4th.

Now on to Koume who this past year has become one of my fave Idols, no top twenty list this year but if there was one she would have made it easily. Really like her down to earth looks and personality, though it seems so in the pics she's not overly bodacious. To me Koume really reminds me of Misa Eto from Nogi and if you can be compared to her you're doing okay.
With the graduations looming Koume is in line to become the group's next Team Leader. Will make every effort to do a few solo posts for some of the departing gals who are twenty or older, SG doesn't have the best songs but all are enjoyable plus they do have many fine looking members. On to some current pics with this first batch being from her blog and Instagram account. Plenty more than these but want to save a few for hopefully another post before the year ends.

The first and last pics are from an event held on November 25th for her first photobook, more info on that further on down. Koume will be appearing in her second film "Ama no Gawa" which will be released on February 9th. The film had it's first screening October 30th at this year's 'Tokyo International Film Festival", shame there weren't more pics from it.

Koume's first PB came out on November 20th and has the original title of "Koume", so many book titles this year are just the Idol's first name. Pics for the book were shot this September in Taiwan so they put the book together quickly, here's some mouth watering promo pics for it.

On November 25th Koume held a fan signing session for the PB at the HMV store in Shibuya. The photobook also came with a behind the scenes DVD, she had her first gravure DVD come out in April and it may be my #1 video of the year.

Just have one mag spread for today but there are two more she'll be in next week. Naturally this way too small set features outtake pics from the PB and what a year it's been for them. These fine set of pics are from the December 5th edition of Friday and have one more fabulous tidbit after them.

YS-Web monthly collections have four weeks but Bomb-TV only has three which is what this final set of pics is from. Already did a post for Koume's first two weeks of November so this is week three and what a tremendous collection of pics these are though none are from the PB. After the pics is a video worth watching from April, it's from the 'Pick Up Idol' site and is promoting her first DVD.
