Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Haruka Fukuhara: Her second intro post....

Talk about someone who was asleep at the wheel!!!! I'm talking about myself of course and the reason for that comment is the first intro post was done in.... September 2017! Honestly had thought there were a few more posts since then, there were for her "Koe Girl" drama, but zero solo posts. Only reason I can think of is Haruka's age, back for that first post she was nineteen.
But shortly after that implemented the rule where you need to be twenty to have solo posts so perhaps that explains some of the gap. But then again she did turn twenty last August so there's been no excuse for not having any posts except for the fact that I truly thought there were some. Should be plenty in the future for Haruka whose kawainess is off the charts, not #1 in cuteness but can only think of two actresses at most who top her. It also popped in my mind who she resembles so much and if you can be compared to her it's a high compliment....

.... and it's Akari Suda who I'm referring to. She's in the bottom two pics above and really the only difference is seven years in age plus perhaps an asset or two.
Just because there was that long gap in posts doesn't mean there will be a slew of older things for today or in the upcoming posts except for mag spreads. Haruka has been fairly busy the past few months and will be keeping that pace up as she has the lead in a film coming out on April 5th. Plus she'll be in the second season of "Kakegurui" and I'm really looking forward to that drama which starts at the end of the month, she wasn't in season one.

Couple of days ago started on Haruka's last drama "3 Nen A KUMI" which just ended it's run. Undecided if I'll recap the entire series but will do at least a few episodes. It's quite a drama and won't give away too many spoilers here. But it revolves around a slightly wacked out youngish teacher who holds his class hostage at their school. The school was deserted thanks to a bomb he planted plus there may be a few more hidden. Have only viewed two shows but it really seems to be a winner and what a huge cast it has so just have Haruka in a few of these screenshots from the first episode. Top pic reminds me so much of the first "Battle Royale" film.

Show also has about four other medium sized faves of mine. That first Haruka post was about her 2017 photobook, had many pics from an event along with two mag spreads and during that event she had a mini party for her 19th birthday.

For the most part Haruka is a conservative gal and have noticed so many around her age are these days. So it was kind of surprising she had a few gravure pics in the PB, pics for it were taken in Okinawa and the colder ones were shot in Hokkaido.

For the PB Haruka appeared in issue #37 of WPB and these weren't in her first post.

Wish she was in more mag spreads but say that about many of my faves but she looks A-OK in all of non-mag pics. Small two page spread here from the October 9, 2017 issue of Flash.

Should be a pair of Haruka posts coming up in April, one will be for her film coming out on April 5th and if we're lucky there will be one for the "Kakegurui" drama. The other should be for a pair of appearances at the 'Tokyo Girls Collection' shows which will be taking place on March 30th and April 20th, these are from 2018 shows.

This turned out to be one of the better posts for this month, enjoy doing these kinds which have a lot of variety and hopefully the ultra kawaii Haruka has gained a few fans. Last bit is an event that took place on March 7th and it was for a screening of the anime movie "Soba To". She plays the main character of Himari and the movie will have it's official release on March 16th. Few pics here from the event followed by a video of it.

  1. Akari can't compare to Haruka. Like comparing a pebble to a diamond. Like comparing a night lite to a flood light. Haruka lights up any appearance whether it was on her early Nameko stage appearances, her Princess Moon, or her Koe Girl. Haruka please live a happy life.
