Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nanase Nishino: Her bombardment of posts continues!

Hopefully nobody is complaining about getting bombarded because I'm certainly not! But this is Nanase's fourth post in less than a month and that's something you don't see too often. So with that many recent posts it obviously means there's not a huge amount of new pics but there is one good sized mag spread that just came out and didn't want to hold on to the pics for too long.
However do have a few other interesting tidbits to add in. Seems to me Nanase isn't as popular here since she left Nogi at the end of February, her posts still get a lot of attention but not like they once did. That's a bit odd to me as I would have thought Nanase would have retained her fans as now all of her posts are 100% solo ones, I'm actually a bigger fan since she graduated.

As I've mentioned a few times there was no top twenty list for 2018 as instead there was my 'All Top Top Twenty Faves' list which really took a long time. But as I've also mentioned if there was a list last year Nanase would have run away with the honor of being number one. So I did 'officially' make her #1 for 2018 and enrolled her in the 'Nao Hall of Fame'. That makes her ineligible for any yearly lists, not sure how she would have done this year but thinking somewhere between the fourth and sixth positions. Hmmmm, wonder how she celebrated being an inductee to the Hall of Fame....

.... ah,  a woman like that deserves my heart!!!! Will guiltily admit that I haven't viewed the "Asahinagu" film yet though I've had it for close to a year. No good reason for that save that I keep forgetting to watch it but promise to by the end of the year and do some posts for it.

Did do a 'pairs post' for the bottom duo but think I need to do a few more of those posts which have proved to be among the most popular posts here, even the ones that aren't Nogi ones. Going to be tough but would like to do a post for this pair who seemed to be friends and did do a few spreads together but not enough pics besides those.

Nanase still has many new pics at the Non-no site but seeing as how her last post was only about five days ago these are the only ones to be released since then.

Those bottom two pics were from their December issue. Seems another company has just signed Nanase up to be a model, that's the Onitsuka Tiger site and her first four pics for them.

Think this is her 370th post which is so amazing, can't say Nanase has had to rely on Nogi group posts as her last forty or so have been solo ones. If she ever reaches the milestone of 400 posts that would be some achievement and who knows if anyone else will make it there, possibly an old mate of hers. Last post had a spread for Young Magazine and she was their cover girl, since then some bonus pics of the photo shoot were released.

Will have one oldie batch of pics and these are getting close to being five years old. They're from Nanase's 'coming of age' ceremony that took place on January 10, 2015. The ceremony is for females who reach the age of twenty, they have it if their birthday falls in the last six months of the year. She was late for her ceremony as Nanase's birthday is May 25, 1994 so she should have attended a ceremony the previous year. If you look at the bottom few pics there's seven members in attendance, six have graduated and the seventh just announced her departure. Sigh, with so many first generation members leaving it's easy to see why I'm not the huge Nogi fan I once was. The event naturally took place at the Nogi Shrine(!) in Tokyo.

Nanase's posts always seem to be the most interesting and entertaining ones, wish more actresses and Idols would take a lesson from her on how to stay busy. Final item for today is a brand new mag spread and she's the cover girl for the November 13th edition of Weekly Shonen Champion, she's had the honor so many times. After the pics have a trio of CM's for 'Cashless Point Reduction' which is a government project, did a post for it's event back in September.
