Kyoko Fukada: A true blast from the past....
Definitely don't post about Kyoko as much these days though I would love to as she's remained a fave of mine which also goes for so many of you viewers. Even though she's not as busy these days used to be able to have a post every 2-3 months but this is her first one in almost seven which was for her last drama "Daughter of Lupin". Only recapped two shows but thought the series was a decent one and playing quirky characters fits her to a T.
That drama ended almost five months ago and since then Kyoko has been one quiet woman save for an occasional mag spread. Not too much today but there are forty new pics and without a doubt she looks as terrific as ever. Kyoko is the oldest fave I post regularly about or at least try to, she turned 37(!) back in November but she beats the pants off of Idols fifteen years younger. One thing that didn't happen for her birthday was a new photobook, she had released four of them after turning thirty and perhaps she's waiting until she hits her next decade.
Those top two pics are from when she was nineteen, the bottom two are after Kyoko turned thirty, I'll take the older version any day! Really can't complain about Kyoko taking a mini breather as no actress has appeared in more dramas then she has since 2000, I've seen ten of them and that's not even close to half. Not a huge amount of things for today, there's three recent mag spreads plus some terrific event pics and sure we'll be seeing much more of her as her vacation seems to have come to an end. First set of pics is a 2019 spread from the August issue of Biteki.
Kyoko's photobooks the past seven years have simply been breathtaking but her mag spreads are usually conservative. Nothing wrong with that as she does have one very attractive face, second set is from the January edition of Camera Man.
That bottom pic is certainly an ultra stupendous one! On the final spread for today and am holding one back just in case there's another post soon which I know we're all hoping for, she had the cover for the January issue of With.
To me these are the top Kyoko pics of the day which are from a February 6th awards show. Name of the show was the 44th 'Elandor Prize Awards' ceremony and she was the presentor for the 'rookie of the year' award'. It went to her co-star of the "A Story to Read When You First Fall In Love" drama, it aired at the beginning of 2019. Don't know where they come up with these 'rookie awards' as the winner Yokohama had already appeared in seven dramas and ten films. Plenty of superb pics from the ceremony and doesn't Kyoko look so incredible? Of course the answer is yes but will skip a video from the event but after the pics have a new cm for Yokohama Tires which has a behind the scenes segment that's worth a view.
