Sadly what has become a rarity these days are posts for ex-Nogi members and believe me when I say it's not by choice. A few have been busy but mainly with dramas and appearing on variety shows, outside of one second generation member you seldom see any of them have any magazine spreads and/or books. I have said too often how semi-popular Idols tend to stay in the public's eye 6-12 months after they graduate and then tend to fade away, wish I was wrong with that theory but it's way too common and seemingly more so these days as the market is so flooded with ex-Idols.
However one gal has remained busy and perhaps in another rarity her popularity has increased a bit, of course am talking about
Kana. I always thought she was such a likable Nogi member who seemed to me to be the group's 'backbone', she was always a woman you could depend on and as time went on her team spirit paid off as in her last two years with the group she became a permanent Senbatsu member.
Kana left Nogi in October 2020 so about four years ago, at the time think there were just three other first generation members left. In August
Kana hit the age of thirty and almost all 1G members are that age or older but can only think of two gals who have gotten hitched. There's not enough time to discuss it but when you talk about
Kana you have to mention
Mahjong and what a player she is, also one of the hotter ones! She's co-hosted some shows for the game which is so popular in Japan,
Kana is also a player in the pro
M-League and top players can make some decent money but though so skilled she still has a ways to go before becoming a superstar.
Let's get right to things and will begin off with some recent pics from
Kana's IG page but did notice about 80% of them at her page were photos of her playing Mahjong. She does have a fan club and has an upcoming event I think later on this week.
For graduated Idols often have some older group cards for the current month, it being November have many of them below and none had ever been posted here before.
Kana is kind of popular here, her older posts have drawn a decent amount of views but there haven't been enough of them. By far her most viewed post was for her "Suki no Koto Dake wo Shiteitai" photobook that came out in October 2020, about three weeks before her graduation. To me this is one of Nogi's more underrated photobooks and if you've never seen it have the link here to it, how about that bottom pic!!!!

Now on to the four magazine spreads, two are brand new, one is from earlier this year and this first is an oldie but goldie that hadn't been posted here before. It's from the October 2018 issue of
BLT when she was 24 in age and also have some bonus pics after the six page spread. Back in 2014 there were three Nogi horror flicks which starred your less popular members or least at the time they were. Of the three
Kana's movie "Death Blog" was the best though all were good, did review the movie and gave it a solid grade.
Next up is this set from the February 19th issue of
Young Magazine, it was in
Kana's last post but that was done nine months ago so sure many of you viewers had never seen this scorching set....
Up next is another dazzling
Young Magazine spread which could be better than the above set and this one is from their September 30th edition, for her three 2024 spreads she was the cover girl for all of them.
Last up is the best of the quartet and
Kana is the cover girl for the November 15th issue of
Friday. It is promoting a new digital book which would be her first, will skip having any videos as there are none for these spreads and mainly on YT they're just videos of her playing Mahjong.
