This is the second Nogi photobook that I have reposted, the first was about two months ago and that post was actually more popular the second time around. Will have at least one more of these posts coming up though possibly two, eons ago I used to divide photobooks into two posts when one was enough. That was the case for this book but like the previous one obtained a new version where I think the quality of photos is higher plus I edited a few of the pics to make them look better.
Good timing in a way as a month from now will mark Nanami's eighth anniversary of leaving Nogi and isn't that so hard to believe that.... eight years have passed by so quickly! But I have never forgotten about her as there is a smallish tribute photo on the right hand side about halfway down. Not going to talk much about Nanami as she was and still is a semi-private person and according to her the main reason for leaving Nogi on her 24th birthday was because of health issues. She was truthful with that and think her lungs were what was causing her so much pain and she was hospitalized in 2014 for that condition. After she left Nogi all fans were wondering what happened to Nanami as she stayed true to her word and retired from show biz, think she was working on either the Hina or Keya variety show for a while as an assistant AD. But it was confirmed last April that she had started a job at Sony and still has a position in their Art Promotion Department, the News.postseven site has a good article about that. So glad to see Nanami is doing well though her graduation may affected me more than any other one but the eight years have healed me to an extent and that's it for her bio as I want to respect her privacy.
On to the book and as mentioned above the quality of pics is slightly higher plus it's so much easier to view one of pictures versus two. Some of the photo shoots took place in Tokyo but most as you can see most of the locations were in NYC, think for Nanami's first book she visited her home area of Hokkaido. This "2017" book was released on February 20, 2017 which was Nanami's 24th birthday and also the date of her graduation concert. A third photobook came out two months later and did post it but it mainly contained pics that led up to her graduation. Nothing more is needed to be said about Nanami who will always remain number one on my heart 😍 and for a long time she had more posts than any other women. This is a terrific book though deep down do wish there were a few more gravure pics and though it was October in NYC she still could have visited an indoor swimming pool. Sales were solod for the book as in its first week out it sold 59,000 copies and to date has probably sold somewhere between 110-120,000 copies. Would recommend checking out Nanami's older posts and up until 2018 she had more than any other woman here, you will notice also how they've changed over the years with the main difference posts are probably twice the size they were a decade ago.
