Akari Suda: For those half dozen who also can never get tired of her....

 

 Sure she has a few more fans than that but does the total equal a baker's dozen?! In the post below this said it would be the only one done for today but there is someone I will always make an exception for and naturally that's Akari 😍! This is her third post in twenty days and I can recall the stretch from 2019-21 when she only had three a year. So times have really changed since May 2022 or 34 months ago, in that period she's had 52 posts and before that only had about 25 though how I yearned to do so many more! This is Akari's fifth post since December 1st when the 'Nao Year' began, three others have more but but in a way think she's the early front runner to once again be my Queen of the year which did happen in 2023.

 Akari's also finished in the second position twice and is the only woman to do so, obviously it means she is such a massive favorite of mine who just may be or should I say will be my #1 when the next 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list is done about seventeen months from now. On that previous list her position was seventh and the only reason it wasn't higher is because her torrid stretch of busyness had just begun about three months before the list was done. Was just thinking about that list earlier and was wondering if I could find twenty names to fill it, don't want to have someone making the list just to fill up a spot as it is somewhat prestigious. So was thinking that from the previous list number's 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 17 and 20 would definitely make the list, probably one other. So that makes it twelve which is a high number and it's nice to see my huge faves don't change like the weather. Can think of two newbies who will make the cut but can I find six others?

 Have a little bit of many things for today, while at times I wish there were more newish photos always have a lot of oldies that had never been posted before. So for today have about forty brand new pics that have come out since her last post was done eleven days ago, an encore viewing of an older magazine spread or two, a pair of brand new videos and this batch of older SKE cards which I'm fairly sure hadn't been posted. What I often do is post cards from newest to oldest so many times you never see the oldest cards so for today did the opposite and have some of Akari's SKE March cards from 2012-14, didn't have all just in case there is one more post for the month.

 Akari's second photobook "Pluie" was released seventeen days ago, think to date it's sold about 3,400 copies but bet the total is higher for sales at events are often not counted. She's done a few interviews to promote the book and below are some pics from the WWS site which was also a video interview and have that after the pics, how I wish there was a DVD of the photo shoot....

 

 Doesn't Akari 😍 look so fabulous in that above video, I've been head over heels for her since 2015 but even more so with each passing day! Two years ago Akari went on a match-makers show where she admitted she had never been on a date, at the time she was 31 and on the show didn't get hitched up! Here we are over two years later and in an interview done a week ago she still has that same problem and at the age of 33 she's never had a boyfriend.... obviously that means Akari has never read this blog as she would know that someone has captured her heart 😍!!!! The photo shoots for "Pluie" was the island of Ishigaki which is just south of Okinawa, you've seen these before which are promo pics from the book but seeing as her posts are the least popular here bet many have never gaped at these yet.... 

 There's been a few magazine spreads to promote the book, have posted them already and most were too small. So will go back in time for a pair and as I've been saying often it's nice to have these again as most mag spreads have been forgotten about or never been seen. Not many J-Pop Idols had as many gravure spreads as Akari did from 2013-22, she must have had close to fifty and wonder if she's ever thought of doing more modeling? This first oldie but goldie spread is from the February 2017 issue of Bubka so it's a little over eight years old, twice she's been their cover girl.

 The second spread is a very ancient one and is from the April 10, 2013 issue of Weekly Shonen Champion so at the time was six months away from hitting the age of 22.

 Ten days ago Akari was at a large event in Tokyo to promote the new photobook, had plenty of pics from that in her last post. There's been two more smaller ones this week for the book, one was at the Umeda Tsutaya bookstore in Osaka. Those are the top four pics below and the only ones I could find from it which she had at her IG page. But have many more from this week's second event which took place at the Hoshino bookstore in Nagoya and Akari hails from nearby Aichi. She always has such a fun time at events so hope there's a few more planned but they don't have to be just for the book.

 Almost always end off an Akari post with a slew of photos from her IG page, mainly because she has so many utterly perfect pics!!!! These are all from the past eleven days with the first four being from that first event held for her photobook. Earlier today a video came out from the event and it's one of her best to date, that video is after the pics and my only complaint ever about Akari(besides always losing my phone number!) is that she doesn't update her YT channel often and why would that be? Below the video is quite a bit of text on what she said so that's worth checking out, she gave herself a grade of 99.9% while I would have given her a 100% 😍(or higher!), the photo shoot took place the month before her 33rd birthday which occurred last October 31st.
