Erika Toda: Shoten in Michiru no Mi no ue Banashi episode 5 screenshots
This drama has just been getting every episode and has been consistently solid but what happened in this last show shocked me to no end, really an intense watch and now it's setting itself up to perhaps be the best drama from this quarter.
We ended off our last review with Michiru's(Erika) fiancee Kyutaro arriving in Tokyo from Nagasaki and somehow finding out where Michiru's new apartment is, she was having a bad panic attack in this show about what to do, how did he find her? Starting off in this episode she told her friend Erika who was with her it should be alright to let him in, though he sounded quite irate he was a mellow person. Once inside he didn't turn out to be too mellow, he insisted Michiru come back home with him and when she kept refusing he was getting more and more out of control. As she was cowering in a corner it appeared he was going to either hit her or drag her away but just as that was about to happen Erika smashed a heavy glass fruit bowl over his head, knocking him out. It appeared he was knocked out but when their friend Teruo came over just a few minutes later he said he was dead(!).... now what to do thought these seemingly innocent people. Teruo who was such a quiet type all of a sudden took control of the situation, his plan is to take Michiru's fiancee into the woods and dump him there, Michiru was too terrified to do anything and watched as Teruo and Erika started to get the body ready to remove from her apartment.
There ended episode 5 and what a intense thriller this is turning out to be, such a naive young lady like Michiru has now 'stolen' a 200 million yen lottery ticket, ran away from her hometown, is having an affair with a book publisher and is now involved in a murder, what's next?! I don't know but the way this series is going seems anything is possible, this has turned into a must watch if you haven't started it yet, it's getting hard waiting for the next episode to be subbed, plus the shows go by too quick as they're only 28 minutes each but least being shorter episodes means there's no filler and it moves at a quick pace like this, once again if you're wavering on viewing this don't think twice, this has truly developed into one solid intense thriller, it has another 5 episodes to go after this one. As is par for any Erika drama we look at here going to end off with a bunch of screenshots from the show, she looks so different in this drama compared to her others, not glamorous at all but she really needed to fit the character she's playing but of course she looks fantastic as always in sort of her own way.
