While the almost all other Nogi posts are hugely popular here, especially the mag spread ones, the drama posts are severely lacking in fans, are there any others out there? Though the view isn't as high as I would have expected still will be reviewing every episode, think there's four more after but most series have ten shows so that's what I'm figuring, could easily be wrong though. Someone did ask on the last recap where to get this series, I get it from a private site but there are a few other places out there to get this drama and with the subs, actually it's kind of easy to find, on to the recap.

Sort of another so-so episode, bit better than the last one but not much and actually their problems were opposites. Episode five's 'member story' was kind of weak but the game the Bemars won was okay which sort of saved the episode. This time around the 'member story' was quite good but hardly any screen time was devoted to the game which was a big shame as they were playing an interesting team, before you knew it the bottom of the seventh inning was upon us.
The story this time around dealt with Kote(Kazumi), it was really nice to see more of her as her character so far is the best as she's so funny and energetic. Kote is the catcher and a good hitter too though we've never seen her hit a homer yet but being the central character in this episode I'm not spoiling it by saying she will hit her first one.
Kote has a crush on another senior at her high school and what's really good for her too it appears as though he also really likes her. The pair set up a meeting and Kote is just so nervous before it happens, the rest of the team is trying to coach her in the correct ways to confess her love to him. Kote is a bit of a tomboy too but the team helps her out and dresses her quite well for the meeting, she does look ultra cute but then again Kazumi is my second fave member so I could be a bit biased.

For Kote the meeting with her crush starts out well but soon her heart will be broken, how can anyone do that to her? It gets broken as the fellow student she's heads over heels for also has a big crush.... on Kote's best friend Nanamaru(Nanase)! Talk about someone being crushed, Kote certainly was but hid it well from the the other teammates, that is until the day of the big game.
The team is now in the fourth round of the tourney to save their park but this game is going worse than the others as they're down 3-0 going into the final inning. It was around that time that Kote revealed what her crush had said, that he had a crush on Nanamaru who she now considered her ex-best friend. Being a bit of a sappy drama the pair made up during the game and were better friends than ever but still the team trailed going into the bottom of the seventh inning.
They did rally a bit and were down 3-2 with a runner on base but with two outs. Of course the batter was now Kote who is a good hitter but a strange one, she can't hit a ball that's thrown down the middle but can clobber one that's way high out of the strike zone. The reason for that was Kote's kendo skills and the way the swing which is in a downwards motion. This time, thanks to the advice of the team's coach, she was able to muster her kendo skills to finally hit a ball that was thrown down the middle and crushed it out of the park. So for the fourth time the Bemars have won their game in the final inning with a homer, next episode on to round five.

However I'm not positive the next episode will have them in the fifth round, they usually show the opposing team in the final minute of the show but not this time around. Instead they ended off with the star of the Polalis team which is Kirei(Mai) so the next show may be featuring her and the Polalis team. Hope that's so as we've seen very little of them, they're quite a powerhouse team so it'd be nice to learn a bit more about them.
All in all it was a better episode than I thought it was in the beginning of this recap, just wish they had spent more time showing the Beamars playing their game. Should be back at the same time next week with a look at episode seven, as usual the following post has many more screenshots.
