Was planning on taking a breather today from posting, have really done so many posts lately plus been watching so many things for those posts I've been getting a bit burned out. Perhaps I'll take that breather tomorrow as I needed to do the post below this one today so figured why not another Nogi post, they really are attracting quite a few page views here so it's nice to see there's many other fans of the group out there.
The group's 13th single "Ima, Hanashitai Dareka ga Iru" has been out for six days now, the sales figure right now stands at 623,500 copies sold. Hitting 700 K for the week is out of the question but they'll be in the 630,00's for the week which will be a record for them. No tie-ins for the single this time either which makes that number more impressive, the previous single had a big tie-in with 7-Eleven which really helped the sales out.
Compared to AKB's singles 630,000 may not seem like that impressive but AKB's singles have so many promos, gimmicks and various other things to get people to buy them, wonder how many really buy the singles these days because the songs are good? Personally I've always thought their singles between 2008 and 2011 were so fantastic, then it seems once they hit #1 on the charts the songs have gone way downhill which is why I wonder if people buy the single because the sings are good or because of all the gimmicks they have to make fans keep buying them.
On November 1st the group made an appearance on the Music Japan show, can't think of one music show the group hasn't been in the last few weeks. Only downside to the performance was that Nanami wasn't there, she was at some other promo appearance on Sunday but thought these shows were taped in advance so don't know why she wasn't there, Miona took her place on the show.
