Nao Kanzaki: 'Top Twenty Faves list for 2016' #9....?

 Being in the 9th position on my top twenty list is certainly an impressive achievement but of all twenty this may be my most disappointing selection, even more so than #17. Beginning of the year would have thought Jurina had a top five spot locked up but as you can see that didn't happen. She was just so quiet this year and the posts for her have been far and few between. What amazes me is her appearances in magazines, on April 5th did her first one of the year that had some A+ pics....

.... and to date that's been her only mag spread post for this year!!!! Just can't believe that as the last few years she's appeared in a few every month it seems plus she's now the 'Face of SKE'. Also can't recall Jurina being at any promo events or any kind of activities outside of the group. On the plus side she did have the lead role in the "Death Cash" drama which was a superb watched and reviewed the whole series which I recommend.
 Jurina is also currently in the "Cabasuka Gakuen" drama which has been a decent watch through six episodes. Her character's name used to be Center but for this series it's now Kurage and she's the number one hostess of all hostesses in Tokyo. The last few episodes her character hasn't dressed as sultry but those first few shows....wowowowowowowowowow!!!!

 Back in September 2015 Jurina released her first photobook which contained so many jaw-dropping pics and it may have been the best PB of last year. It also sold very well too so that's another mystery which is why wasn't there a second photobook this year? Hopefully next year that'll happen along with Jurina becoming so much more busy, what I've been thinking for a while is that Jurina is probably a bit burned out from being an Idol.
 She won't be turning twenty until March 8th but Jurina has been a member of SKE/AKB for over seven years so she truly deserved a quiet year. As a matter of fact she still appears on AKB singles but now no longer performs at their concerts as she said it was becoming too much for her. This is the only top twenty post with no new pics because sadly there are none so we'll call these 'Jurina's greatest hits' from the last 1 1/2 years.
