Been many C-ute posts lately as even though they're no longer active as group I'll never get tired of listening to their tunes and there's still many happenings to get to from the past seven years. Think viewers are starting to get into them too recently as their posts are becoming a tad more popular, perhaps these 'singles series' videos and the info for them are helping. Next ''singles series' post will be for Morning Musume who just released a single today and on day one it's sales were very impressive.
"Arigatou ~ Mugen no Yell" was C-ute's 28th major single, like 95% of them it reached the top five without hitting the top spot. Five times C-ute has had a #2 single, this was one of them and it was one of their best selling singles as it sold close to 70,000 in it's first week. Above is the group performing it at a September 10, 2015 concert and it may have been the first time C-ute sang the song live as it wasn't released until October 28th.
The song is one of their slower singles, actually may have been their slowest ever, personally I prefer the B-side and will have that tune at the bottom of the post. The single came out just three days before Halloween so here are a few cards for the holiday.
As you may notice there's a member missing above so have even more cards to make up for that. These are from their 'Can't Stop' tour which began on October 17th, usually C-ute had a mini concert when a single was released but didn't have one because of the tour.
On to the photobook which was a superb one though could have been a but bigger. Airi has had over ten solo books but just one the last three years, now that the members have gone their own ways wonder if we'll ever see another PB from any of them?
Have mentioned a few times about doing a solo post for Chisato but never seemed to get around to it, least she has many pics in these group posts. The photos for the PB were shot in Hawaii when she was close to 19 and her age is now twenty two. Chisato does look exceedingly bodacious in a few of these pics and the two with Saki rate an A+++++++.
On to the youngest C-ute member who is Mai, she was eighteen at the time of these pics and is now 21. She's the only member who 'retired' from the entertainment industry though have seen a few recent pics of her with other members as a few of them do many Instagram and Twitter posts.
These are group pics from the photobook which finishes off these terrific set of pics, one more thing after this set.
While the A-side to the single was good the other tune I thought was much better, that song is "Arashi wo Okosunda Exciting Fight!". It's really a fun tune in concert but have the PV for it below as it's subbed in English.
