For a change that's not a misspelled word by me in the title as Hiragana46 has now officially changed their name to Hinatazaka46. Not positive why they changed their name but it could be that they're trying to separate themselves even further from the Keya Kanji group. However they will have two songs on Keya's next single coming out on February 27th.
The two groups rarely did anything together except for the 'Bingo!' shows and actually glad they're moving further away as I do like these gals a bit better. Would love it if they did another drama, "Re:Mind" was a solid series. Will still have the label 'Hiragana46' in all of their posts so you can view their older ones. Great news for their fans as the group will be releasing their first solo single on March 27th, bet it'll be a huge seller though not as big as a Keya single. Would think they'd sell more along the lines of SKE or NMB which means 300,000+ in sales.
The group also had their own album which came out last June. Thought it decent but could have had more upbeat tunes, no clue yet what the new single sounds like. This will probably be the group's only post until March as I'm sure they'll step back to let Keya have the spotlight, then in March bet we'll see so much from the members in mags and at events. Plus we'll be seeing five or so gals at the March 30th 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show, wonder if they'll perform the new single at it?
Of course many Nogi members will be there too taking a stroll on the catwalk along with some Keya gals. To date one Hinatazaka member has had a photobook, to me it was a surprise that the honor went to Miho. The PB has been a so-so success, first week it sold 17,000+ copies and the total is now over 30,000. Those pale in comparison to Nogi books so wonder if they chose the wrong member. Have never posted any of her mag spreads but seeing as how she's been in so many for the PB thought I'd have a pair of them for today. This first set is from issue #3 of WPB for this year.
Miho looks alright though to me there's ten better looking members and wish one of them had a book. Second spread is from a special new Flash edition called 'Best of Winter 2019'.
Also in that special mag is my fave member and she's the one I wanted to see have a PB. That's Kyoko who is one of the more popular Keya/Hina/Hiragana members I post about. What's odd is that she's not an exclusive model for any company which means she's won't be at that TGC show.
Know all viewers want to see more of Kyoko and can't blame you at all for having those thoughts. Do have one more terrific spread which is from the January issue of 20+ Sweet.
These next two sets are from 2018 but had missed them, weren't too many for today so thought I'd have these. First 'oldie' is from WPB #39 that features many members.
Also from last year is this mini set featuring a trio from Young Magazine #36. Didn't know it until know as I just checked if there's a captain, there is who is Kumi. She's not in this spread but plenty of pics from an event at the bottom.
Shiho is in that set, she's my second fave member and will be at the March 30th TGC show. No new mag spreads for her today but do have some recent pics from the Ray magazine site.
Shiho was also at a February 10th event along with five other members. On that date the group announced their name change to Hinatazaka and it's going to take me a while to get used to it. At the event the group also announced that they would be hosting the next 'Showroom' plus there was news of their first single. Kind of surprised there's a video of the event, it's after the pics.
