Hopefully the word 'first' in the title will be true as I know so many out there have been dying for new Yui pics. Her last post was close to four months ago and don't expect another one right away but unlike most Idols who graduate Yui has been staying in the spotlight. Did two solo posts for her in September and early November, both of those were immensely popular.
Both barely missed making the 'top ten most viewed posts for 2018', had they been done earlier in the year both may have made the top five. Yui officially graduated from Keya on November 1st(?) but hadn't done any group activities since July. She took a short break during November and December but is back once again which probably brought a smile to many faces out there. Sure these pics will make that smile even wider....
Yui has turned her attention to the field of acting, no regular drama roles yet but she has guest starred in two series this month and will be in a stage play. Don't know if she's going to continue her singing career but her agency is now Avex which is the label of so many huge singers and groups. She does play the guitar so perhaps she can combine that talent with her excellent singing to be some sort of pop rocker. This year has been much busier for Yui as on January she opened an official Twitter page and has posted so many superb pics already, top one is my fave.
Yui is still a model for the ar magazine, she hasn't been appearing in their mags but has a few new pics at their site but will save something for her next post as this one has 94 pics! Though she's still a model for ar she hasn't been appearing at any of the big fashion shows for them, there's three coming up soon so hopefully she'll make an appearance at one or more of them.
Those above were from last year's 'Girls Award' Spring/Summer show. Mentioned that Yui is concentrating these days on her acting, she has her first lead role which is in a stage play titled "Atami Murder Case Lost Generation 46". In the play her character's name is Tomoko who is an officer trying to solve a murder case. These are new interview pics with the Spice.eplus site.
If you look at the fourth pic Tomoko is certainly not a person you want to mess with! On February 14th there was a press conference for the play in Tokyo, it'll be opening in Osaka on March 28th then it will be moving to Tokyo. At 153 cm she's such a short gal, was hard to notice in Keya but you can see how short she is standing next to others.
Have three Yui mag spreads to end off with but am unsure if this first one was in her second solo post. Have a strong feeling it wasn't but even it was can't go wrong with viewing them again, these are from the December issue of Brody.
This one hadn't been posted even though it was a November issue, she had two covers for volume 37 of BLT Graph.
Usually when an Idol graduates from their group you rarely see them appear in mags or at least the more popular ones. Hopefully Yui will be one that bucks that trend as she must still have a horde of fans out there and once again she has the cover of another mag. This terrific set is from the February 28th edition of Big Comic Spirits, more I look at these pics the more dazzling Yui becomes and even better is the video following the pics of the photo shoot.
