Hinatazaka46: One new mag spread plus a slew of pics from the 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show
Hopefully that video will stay up for a while, their PV for "Kyun" has which has slightly surprised me. That's the title of Hina's first single which has set a record for sales. It was released on March 27th and in it's first week the total sales were a massive 476,000 copies sold! That's a record for a debut single for a female group but it's hard to call the song a debut as they did release an album last year plus has had many songs on Keya singles.
However selling that amount is still a terrific achievement, it's still been in the top ten on Oricon's daily charts this week. A million seller won't be happening but in the 700 K range sounds reasonable and wonder if management is kicking themselves for waiting to long on that first single? Have a ton of pics from the TGC show but won't have all of them for today. Trying to cut down a bit with the size of the posts which means there can be more of them and hopefully can have a few more Hina posts in the next week. The single has four versions and these are the covers.
At the TGC show the gals performed the "Kyun" single along with a few other tunes.
Don't know if it was mentioned in their last post but Hina will have their own version of 'Bingo!' starting on April 16th. I plan on viewing it as these members are so much interesting and fun compared to Keya or really any other J-Pop group.
With the new single just coming out expected there to be quite a few mag spreads and the opposite has happened. Perhaps there will be some next week as many May issues are coming out then. But do have one new set for today which is from the April 8th edition of Young Magazine which features a quartet of members.
On to the 'Tokyo Girls Collection' pics and the show took place on March 30th at the Pacifico Arena in Yokohama where there were close to 32,000 fans. Many Hina members took a stroll on the catwalk, for some reason more gals are exclusive models for magazines than the Keya members. Will have three of them for today and in order the first member first is Kyoko.
Didn't expect her at the show but am glad she was invited. Kyoko looked so darn good and she's easily my fave member, she was there representing the Bis mag. Following her is Kumi who took a pair of turns on the catwalk for Ray and Shibuya 109, actually all of the members took a stroll for that company. After her two set of pics are another pair which features Mirei. She's really become so popular lately and was there for the CanCam mag.
