Nogizaka46: The invigorating 'Miona Hori post' #16!!!!
Only number sixteen?! Seems like it should be higher and that puts her only in fifth place for Nogi solo posts even though she's currently my #1 Nogi member and possibly second fave of all time. Miona's last post was a 'pairs' one on April 28th which was one of the better Nogi posts for this year so perhaps we can call this #16 1/2.
Miona's first starring role in a film will be in "Hot Gimmick" which comes out in three weeks. But have been a bit disappointed that there hasn't been much promoting for the film, just one mini interview last week. There's a Twitter site set up for the movie but it's kind of useless as there's very few pics there from the film or set, hope they get in gear soon.
Hmmmm, seems as though she also has some Nogi members admiring her and can't blame them. That second one above is from Miona's only photobook which came out in November 2017. It was a very good seller as total sales have been over 100,000, wonder if there's any plans for a second one and if there isn't why not!? Have a little bit of everything as Miona is quite the busy gal, her current interest is science and hope she doesn't do too well at it....
"Sing Out" is the title of Nogi's 23rd single, sales are of course strong as it's sold 965,000+ in four days though the total is lower than the previous single. To me the Senbatsu lineup is too huge these days as I think 23 members are on the new single which leaves very little screen time for too many. For so long the total was sixteen members and that's a high enough member. Last night Nogi performed the tune on 'Music Station' though a shortened version, as mentioned with so many in the lineup there's not enough screen time for even the more popular members.
Back in April Miona celebrated her second anniversary of being a co-host of the 'Recon' radio show which airs on Wednesday nights. These are some recent pics from the show with the bottom five being from this week, she's really been changing her hairstyle often lately and to be honest almost didn't recognize her.
No brand new cards but do have some slightly older ones that had been missed.
Miona is still Nogi's best blogger but has slowed down quite a bit the past year. At one time she came close to doing a post almost every day of the week, now it's 2-3 times. But her pics are always superb and these are some recent ones.
Those two are very close buddies and that 'pairs post' on April 28th featured the fabulous duo, as mentioned Miona is my current #1 member and her mate I would have in second place. Also mentioned that there's been very little promoting for the "Hot Gimmick" film but there was a mini interview this week for the Fineboys site. My huge complaint is that there were just two pics at the site, that top one is such a winner and the other two are for the movie.
Also featured Miona in a post two weeks ago as eight Nogi members were at the May 18th 'Girls Awards' Spring show, like those members she took a walk on the 'GRL' stage.
Have four mag spreads but will hold one back for the next post as I'm really hoping there will be two more this month, would expect one for the film's premiere and hopefully there will be a screening too. Though Miona took a walk on the 'GRL' stage in the above show she usually represents the ar magazine at those events. Seems she has a huge spread every other month and luckily June is one of those months which is what these pics are from. There's a slight chance they were in a Nogi group post but have a strong feeling I saved them for a solo post such as this one.
Smaller set here from the current issue of TV Guide which has a mini feature on the new film.
Saved the best for last though every other pic today was a winner. Miona often has the cover of a mag and she does once again for the June 12th issue of Weekly Shonen. Miona's first single with Nogi was "Barette" which is my second fave A-side, she was also the center for the tune but hasn't had the honor since them. There's a few videos on YT of it, have only ever posted one before so why not have another version and if you don't know the tune well highly recommend viewing it. The version is from their '2nd Birthday Live' show when she was just eighteen, she'll be turning 23 in October and looks so much better these days.
