Finally is so right as I've been talking about doing a post like this for at least a year, kept putting it aside as I knew it was going to take some work but said 'let's get it out of the way'. Plus I was going to take a two day break and there should be enough interesting tidbits to keep you interested for that short stretch.
Did set some rules up to make it fair for all of my and your faves plus wanted to make the list show more of the current posts versus ones done five years ago. So what that means is a huge fave like Maki who is above wasn't included and didn't even look at what her post averages were, it's been four years since her last post so she's long gone as far as I'm concerned. What the 'Most Popular' means is who has the highest average of views for their posts and some of the ground rules were these:
- Had to have at least ten solo posts in the last two years if you're an Idol.
- For actresses had to have at least ten posts too for that time frame.
- Didn't look at any posts before 2016 so the averages are from January 2016 until now.
- If you had more than twenty posts just went back with twenty or on occasion 25.
Kind of simple rules but what it's done is eliminate some who haven't had many posts the last two years, things have changed slightly over the years as far as posts go. At first it was mainly just actresses who I posted about then added in Idols and then Korean actresses who I've been doing so much posting about but only a handful have over ten posts. So what I may do is a yearly version of this list, this one is a semi 'All Time' list, think I'll do one next January for 2019.
EDIT: Had a change of plans 3/4 of the way through this post. Realized this was turning out to be the longest post in history and was probably only a third of the way through it, this took an hour to do so you can figure out how much longer it would have taken. So titled this 'part one' and these could be considered semi-popular faves who just haven't hit the major leagues as far as popularity goes. Remember, these stats were only complied by me and it's you viewers who have been the ones determining who is and isn't popular.
So this weekend will have part two of this special series though the stats are locked in, did them on June 28th and 29th but don't think a week would change anything. That next post will have the top sixteen and bet there will be a few surprises as I was shocked by a few who did or didn't make the list. Any comments are appreciated and though I spent a lot of time explaining things the list is fairly basic, who has the most popular posts according to how many average views the posts get.
Those above are two more faves who didn't qualify for the list, 95% of Masami's posts were before 2018 and what ever happened to Kasumi? There were a few surprises on who was the most popular gal here, had a feeling who two of the top three would be but never thought #1 would be so overwhelmingly popular. It was a shock she finished in the top spot but it's who you viewers must like the most. Was also a bit surprised at some who I thought their averages would be a bit higher but that wasn't the case
At first won't go in order, that's the next post, by their averages but will have a few actresses to start off with, except for two of them they certainly aren't that popular compared to Idols or gravure models. But have been noticing the views on their posts have really been increasing so perhaps a few of them will make the top twenty for 2019 averages on that next list, hope I don't make things sound too confusing.
Let's get to three Korean actresses, only about six have more than ten posts but by the end of the year that figure should double. Have three of my bigger faves to start off with and needless to say their average post views pale in comparison to Idols though aren't too far behind Japanese actresses. For everyone will give their averages for post views, how far back I went to determine the averages, a link to their most viewed post during that stretch and a few fabulous pics
Bae Suzy.... 287 average, went back to September 2017 with twenty posts

Of course I didn't expect any Korean actress to make the top twenty for averages but was a bit surprised how high they were. Expected the three I looked at to average less than 200 but guess time helps and the amount of people interested in Korean dramas and actresses have really increased. However thought Suzy would be number one for actresses which wasn't the case by far.
Lee Yeon-Hee.... 310 average, just had thirteen posts since 2016

That post is one of my all time faves and may recommend it more than any other one. Yeon-Hee had quite a few posts from 2016 to early 2018 but has only had three in the past year, these are some ultra perfect pics from that post.
Park Min-Young.... 460 average, ten posts going back to April 2016

Wasn't too surprised Min-Young was the most popular Korean actress but that above post really helped her as it's the most viewed post all time for a Korean actress.
Now on to a few Japanese actresses/Idols, needless to say none are among the most ten or fifteen most popular gals here though most averages were quite solid. Few of them though I thought would be much more liked by viewers, at one time they were here but their popularity has faded over the years and especially the first person.

At one time Yuki was among the most popular gals here, very close to being #1 by the viewers. Her posts still draw a good amount of views but the past two years those views have really dropped and think it's because she's really slowed down on her activities as her posts these days are getting rare. At one time her AKB mate Yuko was also extremely popular but haven't done a post for her in about two years, out of sight out of mind is my attitude towards her now.
Miru Shiroma.... 614 average, twelve posts going back to July 2017

Not going to have a link for any of her posts as none were extremely heavily viewed, seems she gets about the same amount of views for all of her posts which have slowly been increasing. Of course old timers to this blog know it was started because of Erika who deep down will probably always be my number one. She's never been #1 to the viewers here though as even in the very early days there were always a few more popular gals such as Maki and Masami. However Erika is one who has stayed fairly busy over the years, haven't had a post for her since April but wouldn't doubt if there will be a few coming up this and next month.
Tsubasa Honda.... 344 average, twenty posts since August 2017

As far as Japanese actresses go Tsubasa is the most popular current one I post about, her average has really been increasing and have done more posts for her in the last 3-4 years than any other actress, she even had one earlier today. Have done three 'Top Twenty Faves' lists, in each of them she finished in the sixth spot and wouldn't doubt if that trend continues this year.
Will add in a note at the top after this but of course you wouldn't know things were done in a certain order. This post already has become quite long in length and time I've spent on it. So what I've done is label this as being 'Part One' and could consider these gals to be 'also-rans' but not in my heart as five of them made my all time top twenty list. So will end off with two of my top gals of all time, numbers one and three to be exact from my 'All Time Top Twenty Faves' list.
Saki Nakajima.... 335 average, twenty posts going back to December 2016

Not a high average but thought it'd actually be lower, C-ute wasn't exactly a big fave of many here. As many may know Saki finished #1 on my all time list, I don't care what others think but she's kind of unbeatable but what a close battle it is between her and the next gal. Her most popular post is definitely one worth checking out and am working on a new solo post for which would be her 100th.

A 571 average is actually quite good, just because none of today's gals didn't make the top sixteen doesn't mean they're not popular just that there's a few gals who have eclipsed them. Maimi is still knocking on the door for being my all time number one but admit it's getting harder to do as being in C-ute made her so much more visible, still don't think there's ever been a more beautiful woman who has roamed the face of this planet and she too may have an upcoming post. Actually have one more person to, such a high average didn't want to leave her out.

Had finished this post but came back for this edit as I wanted to include Mizuki. Wanted to because it seems you viewers also like her quite a bit, that's a high average which beat all '48' gals save for three of them. Without a doubt she's one of the hottest current Idols and if I ever have time that'd be a list I'd really like to have though would take so long to do but would just have current Idols.
