Hakura Fukuhara: "Mikanseina Hikaritachi" single news and a tad more....

'Single?' you may be wondering, isn't Haruka an actress? That's quite true but her talents may be endless as she's also a singer who just released a single last week. Actually Haruka released a few singles when she was much younger, say between the ages of ten to thirteen as she was once the host of a very popular children's food show. Seems she took a few years off to concentrate on her schooling which hasn't affected her popularity in the least. Not a huge post but hadn't done done for a while for her and it's mainly some tidbits about the new single but there will be many new posts coming up for her which may happen tomorrow.

Haruka is a southpaw which I've noticed in her dramas. That above is from her current one "Coffee and Vanilla", have the first two shows which are subbed but unsure if posts will be done for it. The site I got them from is so horrendous with their ads it's not worth it but hopefully can find it somewhere else. But am in the midst of a "Koe Girl" marathon as I've watched the first five episodes, there's ten in all. Have written up two recaps and am planning on having five recaps tomorrow, then the second batch in about a week. Haruka is the star of the show and must be on the screen 80% of the time, she truly is one enjoyable and magnetic actress. She's also the co-singer for the show's ending theme song.

Haruka also has a film coming out this Autumn but don't know much about it yet. On to the single which is the main theme of this mini post but before that here's some superb posts from the Hustle Press site for the "Coffee and Vanilla" drama.

Not positive but think the single is one of the theme songs for the new 'Naruto' series. More Haruka  interview pics which are for the single and from the Entertainment Station site.

"Mikanseina Hikaritachi" was released on August 7th, on the tenth there was an event for it at the Tower Records store in Shibuya. It was broadcast by Billboard Japan but the video isn't on YT but do have the PV for it at the bottom. Haruka sang both songs on the single and at the mini event was joined by Mayu Hotta who is a close friend and both appeared on the excellent '3-Nen A Gumi' series which aired earlier this year.
