Had really thought there would be a slowdown on group posts starting in mid-January but was obviously wrong which is common for me and bet most fans are glad. Two days ago the Senbatsu lineup was announced for Nogi's 25th single which will be coming out on March 25th, so far there's been no news about the song or promo pics. Do expect a subbed version of their 'Construction' show to be available in the next few days which is when the lineup was announced so may do a post for it as it could be someone's final time on the show.
That someone is Mai and as 99.8% of the world predicted she'll be the center for her final single, the entire lineup is the pic just below. A very huge lineup but what I'm impressed with along with so many fans is that the entire first generation is in the first two rows which has never happened before. Sayuri I. will also be on the single which was a surprise as I think she'll be graduating in about three weeks but she deserves being on the single as she's been a member since day one. The back row has eleven members(!) which I've never seen before, three are second generation members and it would have been nice to see a few more of them. It's still eight weeks until the single comes out so will keep you updated as more info comes out. With these two impending graduations it means there will soon only be nine first generation members left.
Have a feeling Mai's graduation may have played a part in Miona's second photobook being held back as management is now pushing the newer members so much more with the group's all time ace leaving. The PB will be released eventually and who knows, perhaps there will be no other books when it comes out and the sales will increase. Thought the PB would come out in early March but instead it's Yuki with her second photobook that will have the honor. Can't complain as she does look quite hot these days plus no other Nogi member has appeared in more mags than she has the past year. A few advance pics have come out for the book, it's release date will be March 10th and the pics for it were taken in Sicily.
That top pic is something and instead of being asked the question by her shouldn't it have been Miona asking the question?
And of course Mizuki's first photobook came out two weeks ago, don't know what the sales were for last week yet but in week #1 it sold 106,000 copies to top the charts. Have posted many promo pics for the PB but have uncovered a few more and shocked that she was so revealing in the book.
There aren't as many Nogi cards as there once was, have a few new ones though for Valentine's Day. If no more come out was thinking of having an 'oldies' post for some of their older VD cards.
First spread for today features Mizuki from the January 29th issue of Anan.
For this set she's joined by Sayuri in the March issue of Cancam and both members are exclusive models for the mag. Both are also featured in the next two episodes of the 'Nogi Cinema' drama currently airing and will have posts for both those shows.
This group spread from the February 11th edition of Flash is promoting the drama, first two episodes were fine but could have been better and post below this one has the recap for episode two.
With Yuki's second PB coming out soon sure we'll be seeing her do a lot of gravure spreads to promote it. But this set here as nothing to do with the photobook and it is an excellent set of pics from the February issue of Entame, she was also their cover girl.
An Undergirl we've been seeing much more of lately is Ranze who I've always liked and she is popular for being a UG, this set is from the March edition of Entame. Wouldn't be shocked if she graduates from Nogi by the end of the year as she announced she'll be graduating from university next month and she smartly used her Nogi salary to pay for it.
There's some new pics at the Mouse computer site but no new CM is out yet but do have a new video at the bottom for Haruyama suits.
Wasn't planning on doing any posts for Saturday so if there's no Nogi posts the rest of the week wanted to wish Kazumi a happy 26th birthday! She's never been my #1 member but has been so close on a few occasions though has been in my top five since day one. When she leaves the group is when I think they'll fall apart in my eyes as Kazumi has been one of the smartest, wittiest and interesting members ever in the group along with being such an underrated beauty, where's the Genie in a bottle when I need him?
