I enjoy dong these kinds of posts as they're usually quite interesting. They also jog my memory as there's some faves who have been forgotten about and realize they need some posts ASAP. You viewers seem to enjoy these too as they average close to 500 views which would place them 13th on the list for most viewed posts.
At the top is Saki and you long time fans may recall she was my #1 woman on the 'All Time Top Twenty Faves' list which was done in October 2018. If another is done would do it fourteen months from now which would be October/November 2021. Don't think about the list too often but when I do wonder who would replace her in the top spot? But then had another thought which is 'Why does she need to be replaced?'. Still watch many C-ute concerts and her videos, viewed one of each yesterday and for now would say she's still my number one of all time.
However lack of posts will eventually catch up to Saki, she's only had one in the past year. She's still a busy gal but her activities don't make for good posts. So unless there's a resurgence in her posts can see her dropping a few positions for the next list done, kind of saddens me in a way how few posts are done these days for many of my real long term faves.
The only time I bring that list up is when I'm doing a post for one of these two mega faves as it's been mentioned a few times how they may be in line to be the next number one of all time.
Let's get to the main theme for today's post which is a huge pair of thanks to all of you viewers. One is for getting to thirteen million views and as I've mentioned a few times never began this blog with any kind of goals for views. After a year only had 50,000 views and never hit a million until the third year. But in the five since then have received 12 million views and each million is coming a bit quicker. So the second thanks is for setting yet another record for the quickest amount of time to obtain a million views.
Back in early December hit eleven million views, the gap between ten and eleven million was 141 days. Really thought I had peaked then and the gap would starting getting a bit longer, say 150+ days. But in April somehow set a new record as it was 139 days between eleven and twelve million. But this time around have to say I'm totally amazed as it took just.... 125 days to get a million views!!!! Honestly don't think the health crisis has played a factor in that record, May and June were actually two low months for views. But July and August may have been the two best months ever for views and truly can't believe the record wasn't just broken but absolutely smashed, think that record is my peak and will never be broken.
Few stats above and hope if the new Blogger version ever gets forced upon is we still have access to that info. The thirteenth million view happened Monday, August 14th at 8:47 pm and wasn't expecting it until Tuesday. That second pic shows a graph on how the views have risen over the eight years. In 2012 the posts averaged 130 views a day, for this past four months it's 8,000! So thanks for that and wish they had made me a millionaire!
Japan still has a huge lead in views which does make sense, Korea has finally made the list and surprised Russia has. Bottom pic shows the ten most popular posts ever, it amazes me that Yumi from Nogi had such a heavily viewed post. But no woman will ever touch the posts for Kyoko's photobook, she has five of the top ten most viewed posts but am fairly certain her last one will drop out within a few months.
Risa made the list for having a post within the top which was a bit of a surprise. Luckily she didn't make today's list, she was being number one in 2019 for having the highest average of 1,105 which is how many views a post of her would get. She's tumbled all the way down to 15th this year, she's had seven posts this year but though such a huge fave will admit they're not as good as last year's.
This is not really a negative list, it's true none of these ten are as popular as others with you viewers but most have seen their average increase this year. Ten made the most popular list which leaves eighteen others, ten will be on this list while the other eight are stuck in the middle. Only requirement for this list was do have had four or more posts between December 1st and July 31st, seeing as how 28 met that requirement will list these ten as positions 19 to 28. Will work in that order, have their average, few pics and a link to their most popular post.
#19.... Haruka Fukuhara, her eight posts had an average of 428
Of course everyone's average goes up each day, by the end of the year her 428 average many increase to 470 or so. But surprised Haruka made this 'unpopular' list, knew she didn't make the list for being the most popular but figured she'd be among the eight who were in limbo. What a massive fave she is of mine these days, her b-day is Friday and will try to have a post then.
#20.... Momoka Ishida, an average of 401 for her six posts
No surprise here but that's really not a bad average. As I said above just because you're not among the top ten for average doesn't mean you're not a popular gal here. Momoka's posts are very consistent, none have had a high amount of views but none have been sparsely viewed.
#21.... Sayaka Komuro, her four posts have an average of 389
Really thought Sayaka was going to be extremely popular when I introduced her last Autumn. That hasn't been the case in the least as though it's not a bad average truly thought it'd be over 500 and very few are as hot as she is.
#22.... Marie Iitoyo, her average is 355 views for fifteen posts
Did include her August post for her photobook as it raised her average by fifteen. That number is what it says for her total 2020 posts are but the number is eight higher if you include dramas which I don't for lists. As I briefly mentioned at the top Marie isn't far from being my #1 of all time but have to finally say viewers here just don't like her that much and probably never will. But will never stop posting about her and she's going to be battling it out for this year's top spot.
#23.... Tomi whose five posts currently have an average of 347 views
Only post from December that's been the most viewed of anyone on the list. Another mild shock as I really thought Tomi was more popular, her first few posts were but every one seems to get less views than the previous one. personally like her quite a bit. Don't think she's be among my top sixteen faves but if it's a top twenty list then she's probably make it.
#24,,,,, Minami Hamabe, an average of 322 for seven post
Oooops, another December post which is from the 29th. Can understand why Minami isn't overly popular but still expected the average to be higher. Her lack of gravure pics and her extremely conservative style may not be appealing to many but to me are her biggest pluses.
#25.... Hinako Sakurai, 295 average for four posts
Don't know where my mind was as that link above is for a December post and was for her finishing fifth on last year's list. Knew Hinako would be the lowest ranked Japanese woman but at least she wasn't the most unpopular gal and to me that's not a bad average as it's higher than last year. Hadn't realized she was only at four posts so need to do more for her to make her eligible for this year's faves list.
#26.... Bae Suzy whose eight posts averaged 230
Bottom three for being the least popular are Korean actresses. Guess that makes sense as I mainly post about Japanese women but truly thought all of their averages would have been higher. Especially Suzy who I think had an average of 280 last year,there still is time to hit that figure and once again she'll be in the top ten for my yearly faves list.
#27.... Jin Se-Yeon who has a current average of 214 for six posts
Really need to do some posts for her as it's been over two months since her last one. Se-Yeon took a tumble on the fave's list because of that but I still consider her to be among my top five for being the most attractive and she's also just so incredibly hot. She's another one whose posts I thought would be more popular, seems they were for a while but guess that wasn't the case.
#28.... Park Eun-Bin whose four posts have an average of 178
With only four posts she still qualifies for the yearly list, made a new rule this year that Idols or actresses from Korea needed either four posts or 250 pics in all. But should have another post for this huge fave of mine as Eun-Bin will be turning 28 in ten days, she actually has five as one was done on Monday. Not an honor to be last on this list but it's never affected the way I post, could make me work harder at them as she does deserve to see that average increase.
