Keyakizaka46: A little bit of this and that for 2020 #8.....

 

 The group's eighth 'this and that post' for 2020 yet just the second since May 10th, there was one done in September but had completely forgotten about it. There's a few good reasons for the lack of group posts, one is that there's so few first generation gals left as half of the original 22 have departed and not one had a proper farewell concert. Of course one other reason is that Keya has been so quiet this year and I'll continue to be a stubborn old fan and still refer to them as Keya. Until lately there had been virtually zero group activities in 2020 outside of their variety show, it's picked up a bit but not to the extent I was expecting.

 Third reason for the lack of group posts is that I prefer doing solo ones for my fave members, bet there's been at least thirty posts this year for them. None for Akane though save for a post for her sweltering photobook, to me she's Keya's most alluring member so she seemed like a good choice to begin the post off with and you'll see plenty of her today. Had actually been trying to have two solo posts instead of this one but both have had recent posts so there just weren't enough new pics but you should see a post in the next two weeks for both of these huge Keya faves.

 Though I have been quite down on Keya it's been mainly the group as a whole and not it's members. Two placed in the top ten for the yearly fave's list, won't harp on things as it never helps but 99.98% of the problem to me has been Keya's management and their ineptness started well before 2020. Think this will be the first of 3-4 group posts though of course will be having just as many solo ones, won't have that many pics of the gals who do have those kinds of posts. There's four main members who always have posts and on occasion do try to have one for their most kawaii gal....

 Have over seventy new pics for today though there's not much variety of things but needed to get back into the swing of things as far as group posts go. Of course have been trying to have X-Mas pics in all recent posts but the Keya members aren't into the holiday all that much save for the ones who have solo posts or this departed member....

.... who of course is Neru. Of all the members who have left I miss her the most and to me she still has Keya's top photobook, perhaps the top one for any '46' member the past three years. After a year's break Neru returned in July to become a co-host of the '7 Rules' variety show. Will try to include any news of her in these posts but besides that she hasn't done much else such as appearing in magazines. Do have some brand new pics which are from an interview she did for the Hominis site and if you ask me she looks better than ever!

 So while Christmas pics are lacking for Keya do have some new ones for the holiday from 'Uni's on Air', that's a website that has a game featuring Keya and Hina members. Have always thought their promo pics for the game have been superb and these new ones are no different, four pics each here for Minami, Mizuho, Akane and Fuyuka.

 The first four pics in the next batch belong to Rina Uemura, she's a first generation member that will be turning 24 in January. She's seldom been seen in these posts and what a shame she doesn't appear in more mags as she really looks darn good to me. Following her is another Rina, Keya has three, who is a second generation member and I think the most attractive of any of that bunch. Her last name is Matsuda and she turned 21 back in October, last up for this set is Rika Matsudaira who also looks quite oki doki and will try to have many pics of all three in upcoming posts.

 At the beginning of November added a new label title '46 Group's TV shows' which should have been done so long ago. They're for the variety/special shows of Nogi/Keya/Hina so perhaps that'll make searching for those a tad easier. Keya's 'Keyakitte' variety show aired for five years, it's last episode was on October 11th. But all that really happened is that the show's title was changed to 'Soko Magattara Sakurazaka?' which refers to a street. The hosts are the same duo plus the set is mainly the same save for different decorations. In future group posts will try to include some screenshots from a show or in a solo post if that member is featured.

 These are from the new show's first episode that aired on October 18th and it was mainly for the Senbatsu selection for the group's new single "Nobody's Fault". Previous singles had included all of the first generation members which at first was 22 and that was way too many. Just fourteen were selected for this single and half were second generation members so a few old timers had to be left out. The selection had been done on September 20th, supposedly the members had no clue on whether or not they would be chosen but I wonder about that, there was also a brief clip of the song to end the show.

 Rika wasn't chosen to be a Senbatsu member and that may speed up her graduation announcement. Here's the lineup for the "Nobody's Fault" single which was released last week. It topped the charts of course selling 410,000 copies and don't know if that should be considered a success or not. Keya's previous five singles had all sold 632,000+ in it's first week but we all knew there would be a drop after not releasing a physical single for 22 months. The main song is decent but am a bit disappointed in the other six tracks as there were no solo songs or ones featuring a subgroup.

 Have a pair of recent mag spreads, this first set has Akane from the September/October edition of BLT. There hasn't been a shortage of spreads but the vast majority feature 2G members and many of them are a bit too young for me. Not all though as starting in the group's next post will have spreads for those gals twenty and older.

 Akane began the post off and she'll also be ending it with this set from the December 18th issue of Young Gangan. It's not a solo set as she's joined by Keya's tallest member Mizuho, both are 23 in age.
