Tsubasa Honda: A little(lot!) of this and that....

 

 That one hundred post milestone should be reached by someone during April, been about four years since a non-Idol hit that mark. There should be two others that will hit the century figure but it wouldn't be for about two years and will I still be here then?! So that's a rarity but even more of one is reaching 200 posts which has been done by two only actresses. There's only one person who has a chance to hit that esteemed mark and of course it's Tsubasa who needs 32 more. That is a lot of posts though, even if she had one a month that's still over 2 1/2 years away. And the problem is she won't be having that many so it's looking like that figure will never be hit again though it's not 100% certain.

 This is just Tsubasa's second post in ten weeks but she has had five since September, like most actresses 2020 was such a slow year for her. But that late rush with posts did make her eligible for last year's faves list though she just finished 20th. That was the first year Tsubasa didn't make the top ten and she's still the only person to make all six yearly lists. She also finished tenth on my all time list and when the second one is done sure she would move up a few positions.

 Not a lot of different activities for today but quite a few new pics, didn't count them but there may be a hundred. If I keep doing posts that large for her there's no way she will hit that 200 post mark so better cut down on the size of them, especially so she can qualify again for this year's faves list. It's been over a year since Tsubasa's last regular drama and that's a shock as very few actresses have appeared in more than she has since 2012. 

 Did recap the first six episodes of her 2019 series "CHEAT", no good reason for aborting it but think I was doing too many other shows at the time. But did finish it and that was one of the top dramas for 2019 and I'd highly recommend it. The CHEAT team was a group of four who swindled swindlers but as the series went on it became much more than that. The story actually began almost twenty years before and those last few episodes were quite intense. Also some very intriguing plot changes, her character's name was Saki who was the stern leader of the group but led a double life as she was also an underground Idol-wanna-be! These screenshots are from the final episode and am kind of missing seeing her on the screen on a regular basis.

 Tsubasa has been the co-host of a variety show since last July and was in a TV movie back in January but that's been in it for appearing on the screen the past year. She's slowly getting up there in age though still looks so mighty perfect to me, in June she'll be hitting the age of 29. On to the recent pics and these are from her IG page, most are from photo shoots.

 Tsubasa is another fave of mine who isn't all that popular here. Have noticed that's the case for most gals who don't do gravure spreads but her doing none is oki doki with me, hard to beat pics like that above one. This September will mark her third anniversary as a model for the More magazine. These are new pics from their site and they're the only place she's a model for these days.

 Wouldn't mind seeing a few more pics of Tsubasa with these gals too and don't know if she ever had any ideas of a musical career but....

 .... on March 2nd for the first time she appeared at an event showing her skills playing the bass! Hmmm, actually should have said beginner's skill as it seemed it was Tsubasa's first time playing the instrument. The event was to promote a new CM for 'Asahi Beer Lee' aka Beery which is a low alcohol beer and was she really drinking one at the event? Huge amount of pics from the event, have missed seeing her at these occasions the last year. At one time Tsubasa used to appear at about one a month but there's been so few of them for well over a year.
