Marie Iitoyo: Was thinking that she may never....

 

 .... have another post!!!! Probably sounds odd saying that as she had thirteen of these posts in a 129 day stretch or one every ten days plus four other posts for dramas so far for 2021. But this is Marie's first post in exactly a month and that long gap hasn't happened in a while. So that means her pace has slowed down as she's now on track to have about 26 posts for the year which would tie the record she set last year, will do all I can so she can top that mark. It hasn't been a fact that Marie hasn't been busy but most of her activities from the past month haven't been ones that you can post about. She hasn't appeared at an event for a few months nor have there been any recent mag spreads but she does deserve a bit of a break on occasion as no actress/model as been as busy as she has the past three years.

 Still have a ways to go until the yearly faves list will be started but still can't make up my mind whether to include past winners. The rule had been once you were #1 for a year the woman was no longer eligible. But it's going to be a bit difficult to get as many to qualify this year compared to previous years which is why I may change the rule and can see the past three number ones making this year's list. Marie was #1 in 2020 and would have to say she'd be the front runner at this point, she'd also be the front runner when I do the second 'All Time Top Twenty Faves' list.

 So while the last month has been a bit slower for activities, least by Marie's standards, do have over fifty new pics plus a few oldies. Will start off with some older ones which had never been posted before, somehow missed these superb pics from the Mery site that came out last October.

 Marie was at three events in March plus one in early April but none since then, I truly like the way she looks at them. She did a recent promo for 'Tokyo Girls Collection' and will be appearing at their September show. No new event pics so will go back in time to August 27, 2019 and a press conference for LinkT. They're an employment company that works with new college graduates, she's been too busy to ever attend a university and here's also a video to the event: LinkT event

 Do have some new modeling pics but not all that many when you consider it's been a month since Marie's last post. Will end off with more and this batch of terrific pics are from the More site.

 Marie has the lead role in her current drama, it's at least the fifth time she's had the main role and these pics are from an interview promoting it with the TV Guide site.

 "Hinekure Onna no Bocchimeshi" is the title of the drama, it began on April 29th and has three more episodes to go. I really enjoy shows like this one as Marie's character Tsugumi is kind of an introverted, quiet yet interesting young woman. Have no idea if it'll ever be subbed, really hope so but haven't heard any word of it being done. It's an easy enough drama to follow without subs but Tsugumi talks to herself all the time which is why subs would really help me.

 Tsugumi is about 22 in age and works at a wacky convenience store, it's truly a dead end job. She's discovered a site where this man with the web name White Horse talks about food and restaurants he's visited. We saw him at the end of the second episode and he's a salaryman but like Tsugumi also an odd person. These screenshots are from the second episode where Tsugumi was suffering from an identity crisis, more along the lines where everyone ignored her. At the store she worked at customers wouldn't even notice her and instead go to a line that already had five customers. Tsugumi was also ignored at a restaurant she visited and all of the other diners were served first. This really seems like a drama that I'd enjoy so much more with subs and hope it eventually gets picked up by someone.

 Marie will also be in the third season of 'Kimi to Sekai', it'll be airing later on this year but no official date has been set. Viewed and recapped both seasons, it's a solid drama that could be so much better but of course I'll be viewing that next season. No recent mag spreads so will be ending off with some super duper new pics from the Oggi site. No new videos either so am going to go way, way back in time for a CM which you can view after the pics. It's one of Marie's first ones ever which is for PAS and it came out in April 2015, her looks have really changed over the years.
